Just like People in England are ENGLISH (even if they don't know English or not) & People in Ireland are Irish......so are the People in HINDUSTAN called HINDUS, but i simply don't know why these SICKULARS have any problems?
Bungo,Hindus ain't afraid of no one.We destroyed the Mughals way back in 1707 after the death of Auranzeb.Plus Central Asian barbaric hordes only ruled the Northern portion of India and that too for around 500 years. But those days are long gone. Now we constitute around 80% of the total population of this country and if we take the Sikhs,Buddhists and the Jains(these are all Dharmic faiths) then the percentage rises to around 84%.So you can clearly see that there is nothing to be afraid of as far as we are concerned.Plus i don't think that a Bangladeshi should be preaching us on minority treatment considering the way that your country treats it's minorities!!People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones at others!!Why Indian Hindus have so much problems with minorities?
This is understandable they have negativity towards Muslims as Muslims ruled Hindus for centuries. And always threatens to rule again.
But again they have problems with Christians, Sikhs, N Easterners. Upper cast Hindus have problems with lower casts
Again they haven't got any better relations with a single neighboring country surrounding India.
So can we come to this conclusion that it is the core problem of Hinduism.
Intolerance and Non coexistence with others, its the teaching?
Well Thanks. I actually never came across the women you are mentioning although history was one of my subjects at graduation level. I would appreciate if you gave the source of your history for my benefit at least. If what you wrote is true, then I would refer my id to be after the first Muslim Woman ruler of India unless you tell me there was some other muslim woman regent in some corner of India.
I have the advantage of NOT learning History as a formal subject. That ensured that Marxist manipulation of History did not affect me,
Since you are interested in women rules of India let me assist you along that path, For starters "Razia Sultana" always insisted that she be called "Razia Sultan" since Sultana was the name given to the mistress and concubine of the Sultan. She went to extreme steps to ensure the was called 'Sultan' So if you really want to honour her, you name should be "Razia Sultan".

Now this is just the list upto 1100 AD.
But Razia does appear to be the first Muslim queen in India. If you know she was killed in her third year of rule. Which is why I would rather have your look upton the various names listed above as your own too. There is no reason for Indian muslims to cling to muslim rulers are their own. Other Hindu queens of India is as much your own. Or am I wrong ?
What happened to the remainder 180 million I always hear about?
Thanks. But even you are not giving me the source of your information. These days anyone can right his own interpretation of history. Being a regent or co-ruler means nothing. Bairam Khan ruled as a guardian of Akbar but no one calls him a ruler. I dont want to get into a gender debate but I prefer Sultana over Sultan. Razia ruled when it was almost unthinkable during that time and specially among muslims that a woman can be a ruler. She became a victim of fanatics conspiracy but no one can erase her place from the history. Today when one remembers women rulers in India, the first name comes to mind is of Razia Sultana, then Laxmi Bai of Jhansi and Indira Gandhi. Rest were too trivial or did not leave much impact to be remembered. In fact, I would not put Laxmi Bai as a ruler as she was subservient to the British Rule and fought the British against the policy of annexation and she died while fighting. So we have two greatest woman ruler as Razia Sultana and Indira Gandhi.
