Karachi had a higher standard of living than the rest of Sindh even when it was full of Sindhis before partition. They never demanded a separate province. Then immigrants started pouring in from all corners of India, and few decades later, made a fake identity for themselves and started demanding a separate province. It was never an urban-rural issue, it was always an ethnic one. If you refuse to integrate, it's your problem. Not the fault of Sindhis.
Karachi used to have a high standard of living hell Pakistan used to have a high standard of living and then the bhutto's and the PPP happened to crawled out whatever mud hut
Those immigrants left everything they had for an idea called Pakistan and most of those immigrants fought for a Pakistan when not a separate province but a separate country was being created seem to forget that part
I love how every tom dick and harry in this country can celebrate there ethnic identify from the PuSHtoOns to the PuNgJAbis GilGiti SIndHi but when we Karachiats do it everyone and gets there panties in a twist C'est la vie i guess
I dont know if you live under a rock or haven't visited Karachi yet but we have successfully interrogate to Pakistani society successfully
Back to a separate province i think every province should be split up into smaller regional administrations not just Sindh for easier governance not along ethnic lines but convenience and YES Karachi should be a special administrative region
the whole Pakistan talk sh#t about us they all end up living hereIt's already like that
