Do we need to argue that Tibet wants Freedom?
See for yourself.
YouTube - Tibetans protest against visiting Chinese PM

Some of their protest slogans are in Hindi like "Hame Aazadi chahiye(We want freedom)" etc.People protesting against Wen Jaioboi visit in Delhi

It should be simple.
We ll treat J&K just like China treats Tibet.

Correction: We'll treat Tibet just like China treats Kashmir.

That's it. That's the bottomline.

Basically, all these discussions boil down to the same thing.

Indians are concerned about China's support of terrorist organizations like the Jamaat-ud-Dawah, and nuke proliferation to nations hosting these terrorists.

Chinese harp on Tibet.

Strangely, when asked what violation of international law Tibetan refugees have committed in the past 20 years, all Chinese fall silent. Nor do they have anything to say when asked what steps they want Govt of India to take.

Same discussion repeating over and over again.

The GoI is too soft. :azn:

I cannot see them taking a hard stand on this issue.

The GoI has been soft...so far!

You can't really say that it will remain soft in future too.

P.S. You didn't answer my question. How do you know that I'm just an obscure poster sitting somewhere on the internet and not a policymaker in GoI? You know nothing CD. And this is not a joke.

The GoI has been soft...so far!

Tigers don't change their stripes. :azn:

What you said above is just wishful thinking, there are no facts to even suggest that the GoI might suddenly grow a backbone.

Yeah GOI is soft but anyone can sense the hardning stand of GOI on this matter...!

EX :- Attending Noble peace ceremony ,even after china's request of not attending..!

It is simple as this ""Respect our core concerns(k) and we will respect yours(T&T) otherwise we need to re-think our previous stand and policy;s on certain issu's regarding China""

Another example :-

India tells China: Kashmir is to us what Tibet, Taiwan are to you

:agree:

Gradually! Not suddenly!

This particuler incident of not mentioning Tibet as part of 'One China' in the joint statement is just a start.

If China still doesn't pay heed to India's concerns, who knows what course might India take?

Ok what i comprehend from the post of certain Chinese people here is how troubling the Maoist problem in India is

Now they spiced it with some totally comic comments

So China supporting Maoist insurgency in India,Maoist attacking Delhi and India disintegrated into 1000 pieces all within a blink of an eye:lol:

Frankly those people who make up this comments to suit their ego and claim the moral high ground should better study about the history of this insurgency

All it started way back in 1967 after a peasent uprising in bengal, place known as Naxalbari, and the group involved in this insurgency came to known as Naxalites, yes the ancestors of Maoists:lol:

We wiped out the entire movement by the mid 70's which resurrected in early part of this decade to b known as Maoists

Do u think this is the worst, hell no,We had already seen the worse and this is nothing in compared to last one, once again we r going to evaporate this movement, and frankly please dont say poor people support them,I know their r many ignorants here,If u had heard about the Maoist train bombing and about their kangaroo courts,u should b aware that the people who suffer their atrocities the most r the same poor people

Tigers don't change their stripes. :azn:

Totally irrelevent to international Diplomacy and Intrests..!

What you said above is just wishful thinking, there are no facts to even suggest that the GoI might suddenly grow a backbone.

Wishful thinking? Can't you see official statment by GOI and by comparing tibet, taiwan with kashmir issue?? It is just starting..!

And let me assure you if china continue with its hostile nature against our core concerns then it is just matter of time and you will see yourself The backbone growing strong as a stick..!

Not mentioning something on a joint statement?

LOL if that is them acting "hard", then there is nothing to worry about.

Do you have any indication that the GoI will gradually turn from "soft" to hard, and how many years will that take?

A slap on the face and total humiliation by wen jia bao to the GOI prompted this face saving replied by the GOI. It was widely regarded by majority of the india media as this is a non trip to the embaressment of the GOI since there was nothing substantial coming out of the tolk with regards to many issues of concerned to india.China main priority of this visit is economics business and more business, where as Naive india see it as an opertunity to gain political influence and gather china support for its desire of an unsc seat.China tells it straight to india we neither support your unsc bid nor do we going to change our official policy on kashmire and you can forget abt the issue of stappled visa.

Frankly not in our wildest dreams we thought GoI is going to take this stance,so if u ask as Indian's,all this happened pretty fast
