Read UN charter Article 109..
India can seek to amend the UN Charter. That requires a vote by 2/3 of the Members and 2/3 of the Security Council..
All decisions are not China reliant..Get yourself educated...

Did you actually read it though, it's quoted above.

You need the support of ALL the P5 members before the UN charter can be amended.

Every single P5 member must support it, or it cannot pass.

yet India can't seem to understand the basic idea of geopolitics (countries will further their own national interests) unless it is about their OWN national interests, in which case they suddenly understand how important it is.

Selective amnesia and lack of comprehension is also part of geopolitics:lol::lol:

.
Didn't you also claim that China would not dare to use veto power on India's NSG entry? :P Yet it happened twice in a row?

You guys are just divorced from reality.

You can understand the importance of serving your own national interests when you plead for NSG and UNSC membership, yet you can't understand why other countries would want to serve their own national interests as well.

No way India get permanent membership, let alone veto power despite nonstop fanboys wet dreams

There is a powerful coffee club in UN, oppose G4,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uniting_for_Consensus

Japan - South Korea/Indonesia
Brazil - Mexico/Canada/Argentina
Germany - Italy/Spain/Turkey
India - Pakistan

basically they are G4's neighbors and competitors, why they would allow their neighbor get into permanent membership? Plus current P5 just doing lip service to Indians.

If India feel UN is outdated, nobody is twister her arms to let her stay, she is free to leave.

First of all the BIG J are in no hurry but after a certain time they will threaten to pull out of UN and form a parallel Security Council. Then no one will care for your Veto. UNO is aware of this and P5 will prefer to share the veto with BIG J rather than everyone losing it. BIG J are Brazil, India, Germany and Japan.
You are free to leave UN anyday

The day BIG J leaves UN, that day will be the last day of the UNSC.

.
The answer from the P5 will still be no. Especially when the G-4 wants to come in together.

But even if members of G-4 tries to join individually, the odds are still worse than winning the lottery.

The 15 year moratorium is not long enough. Even if it's permenant membership without veto perpetually, the result is still "no". No members of p5 will choose dilute their own power
Who cares :partay:

Well, these four countries can leave now and the UNSC resolutions are as valid as ever. Trust me, the day when UNSC cannot survive without India, India will be invited to join. Or more likely, a new organization will replace UNSC and include India. Until that day comes, no amount of hissy fit or superpower videos will make any difference. As of now or in near future, India is free to leave UN and UN will survive just fine.

Logically speaking, you are right.

But we can always try.

Fortune favours the bold.
