What's new

No Bangladeshi university could even make to the list of 1000 in the world university rankings

Does the university continue under Islamic Kingdom ??
No, a certain Islamic invader burnt all books and killed all students and monks and teachers. It has been "reinstated" however as a centre of higher education using grants from a number of countries like India and Japan .

Among the first things Islamic invaders destroyed. Apparently the library was so huge that after they set it on fire it burned for several days. But the good thing is that we're trying to revive this. The Foreign Minister of SIngapore was a recent chancellor. It will go through trials but in the end the project will be completed.

Any proof on what you said ??? Islam has a nature to preserve knowledge and continue flourishing the education like what happen in Middle East (Bangdad/Egypt, etc) and Europe (Andalusia)

In the contemporary world the meeting of Buddhism and Islam is most often imagined as one of violent confrontation. Indeed, the Taliban's destruction of the Bamiyan Buddhas in 2001 seemed not only to reenact the infamous Muslim destruction of Nalanda monastery in the thirteenth century but also to reaffirm the stereotypes of Buddhism as a peaceful, rational philosophy and Islam as an inherently violent and irrational religion. But if Buddhist-Muslim history was simply repeated instances of Muslim militants attacking representations of the Buddha, how had the Bamiyan Buddha statues survived thirteen hundred years of Muslim rule?

Other proof comes from Tabaqat-i-Nisari:

Muhammad-i-Bakht-yar, by the force of his intrepidity, threw himself into the postern of the gateway of the place, and they captured the fortress, and acquired great booty. The greater number of the inhabitants of that place were Brahmans, and the whole of those Brahmans had their heads shaven; and they were all slain. There were a great number of books there; and, when all these books came under the observation of the Musalmans, they summoned a number of Hindus that they might give them information respecting the import of those books; but the whole of the Hindus had been killed. On becoming acquainted [with the contents of those books], it was found that the whole of that fortress and city was a college, and in the Hindui tongue, they call a college [مدرسه] Bihar.

Where did you find Islam and Muslims are compatible with education, knowledge, integrity and many other human qualities based on which the Christian West progressed and developed themselves?

In terms of education and knowledge, is not the Muslim world remains at the lowest rung, and is not it the reason that the Muslims have a static mind that is unable to change and progress? To change means to progress/develop.

What a quality of education. so these students and their teachers are capable of doing what? Would any company get anything out of these people? Oh wait, they have learned how to make kagojer urojahaz (paper airplane) that Hasina and awami league cheerleaders are howling for a while now.

Google is source of question and answer, meritorious students suffering are in evaluation.

Online-reliance on education has increased in Corona. Teachers are creating questions with Google search. Similarly, students are using Google like a golden stick in various exams. Right now, they are downloading the answer from Google and submitting it in the exam answer sheet effortlessly. Many students are not even approaching the textbook with this facility of Google. But they are getting full marks in the test. And this is creating reluctance to study even among the real meritorious people. Meritorious students are not getting their desired evaluation even after studying well and preparing. And when the teachers, students and regulatory bodies of the university talked to the University Grants Commission (UGC) about these issues, they also shared their experiences.
When the outbreak of coronavirus became apparent in the country from March 16, holidays were announced in all educational institutions at once. Online classes and examinations are started in higher education institutions to keep the educational activities going. But along with the various benefits of online, everyone is now witnessing a new unpleasant experience. Just as many teachers are using Google to create question papers for exams on certain lessons in the class-based syllabus, students are also copying, pasting and submitting the answers in the same way.
According to the students, many are staying in the village or outside the city as the educational institutions in Corona are closed. Apart from this, their distance from the textbook has also increased due to various reasons. But due to pressure from the organization, they are being forced to take part in the assessment test at the end of the month. Because they are not prepared for the test, they are using Google to find the answer to the question. And they are getting the answer in a fully prepared state. And this is the answer they are using in their exam answer sheets. They can easily search on Google without the hassle or pressure of making answers by looking for textbooks or class notes.
Amena Jannat, a student of the Department of Finance and Banking at Jahangirnagar University, told this reporter of Naya Diganta that some students try to avoid the weakness of their lesson preparation by hiding it in online exams. And the main way to do this is to copy and paste the answers to the questions from Google. And those of us who study all year and prepare well for exams are defeated by these roses. Because in the previous exams those who were limited to two or two and a half out of four as points are now getting points in three and a half or four. And those of us who used to do well at other times, now we have to be on par with them. The student also said that it is a cause of mental distress for the meritorious students.
Dr. Faridul Alam, a lecturer in the Department of Physiology at the Public Health Society-based Medical College, told Naya Digant that among the students who used to do badly in class, now with the help of online, they are also seeing much better results. Although we teachers are not looking at the issue positively. Because at this time in Corona they are not supposed to come to the stage of getting such good results overnight. However, those who used to do well in the past will undoubtedly do well. But some students are using some tactics (sub-strategies) in online opportunities. And for this reason, meritorious students are not being evaluated properly.
Alamgir Hossain, a member of the University Grants Commission, told Naya Digant that the merit of students in online class examinations will never be properly assessed. This is what we have been saying from the beginning. Even then we allowed online media to take classes. But we also had some restrictions on online testing. We asked the universities to submit a specific proposal to the UGC in the form of a proposal for online testing. But they have not made that offer yet. They also did not get permission from UGC to take the test online. Those taking the test online are not doing it right. He added that they (public and private universities) are taking online exams without informing anything.
