Range is 1500km It can be altered.. depending upon ordinance used and mission requirements.

Yeah, DRDO has this nasty habit of downplaying the range of it's missiles...

Also the missile looks massive because the picture in which the NDTV reporter is standing beside the missile is not of correct aspect ratio..........it was shot by 4:3 camera and presented in 16:9 form.......that is humans in the picture are appearing shorter than they are........which is why horizontal lengths are appearing more compared to vertical heights...

with better fuel and tweaks in the engine,they can increase the range....Missile engines may be similar to aircraft engines but they have to work only once,so a bit easier to make.

Pakistan imported from North Korea and "upgraded" it.

India imported K-55 from Russian and "Downgraded" it to a non-working model which crashes midcourse


Again jokes aside....the test also showed Indian Command and control system is a working one,as they accurately tracked the missile and neutralized it safely...
Question is that Indian Command and control system is ground based as in terrestrial sensors and transceiver network or is it satellite based??

2.)IASOW(indian aerial stand off weapon) also IASOW-ER(extended range) jets and cargo plane based
3) TSSOW(tactical supersonic stand off weapon)(BRAHMOUSE)land and sea based
4.)IASSOW(indian aerial supersonic stand off weapon) also IASSOW-ER(extended range) jets and cargo plane based

and the distance posted for mk1,mk2,mk3 are only land and sea based
aerial based are confidential as off now
