Lt General Zaheer ul Islam who is current DG ISI will retire on 1st october along with 3 to 4 other Generals so every one who is expected to be next DG ISI the most powerful post after Army Chief in Pakistan any ideas ?

You mean Khwaja Asif? Yes, they have to approve the recommendations of the COAS.These corrupt politicians can not and must not be allowed to mingle with the professional matters of the Army, the only institution that is left from their accesses.

Well by looking at the list on wikki I don't think so I think it would have to be one off those two Major Generals I mentioned which would get promoted and appointed as DG ISI

You missdd out on Lt Gen muhammed Asif, who served in MI and now JS HQ ----
Also you missed out on Maj Gen muhammed raza he served isi external winv, MI however his current position kind of puts him on the odds and the it's another major general
