He has a point, in fact, but, it is weird that he still inserts Iran into his conversation despite the fact that Iran is the very anti-thesis of the rising radical religious ideology of Islamic orthodoxy.
I wonder what they were doing when they were busy separating moderate Syrian terrorists from the radical ones by the length of their beard.
I agree about the following proposals (for any organized, politicized religion):
1. Monitor the schools (destroy underground madrassas). Provide secular, state-controlled education.
2. Monitor the mosques (close most of them down; turn the rest into cultural centers)
3. Take away the excesses of religious freedom. There is no freedom of religion in public space (strict dress code for men and women; no religious propaganda; no demonstration of religious rights' such as 'halal-kosher-no alcohol').
4. Never allow religiously-imposed courts. Never allow religion-based finance. Never allow religion-based entertainment, media, internet.
This is a cancer and requires drastic measures.
This is in fact where Europe and the US are heading for. It is sort of unfortunate to watch how the European secular project is being eroded by clueless politicians and their political correctness and lack of strategic vision.
