iran didn't use proxies in the iraq war , we only use proxies against israel for PR , also because we are not neighbors with israel , israel too uses proxies in her war with iran , the kurds , the united states , etc. and so forth

when we can and when the international attention is away we fight the israelis directly like in the 80s and during the height of the iran iraq war when iran sent troops to arm and train the lebanese hizballah , who eventually kicked the israelis from southern lebanon in the late 90s , infact the hizballah you so mock , is the main party that has isolated israel in the region
