What's new

New York is the rudest city in America, survey says, biggest jerks in America

Yeah, definitely the rudest fucking city in America.
Partly people and partly govt responsible for the fkd up status of NY.

The new york govt let many m0f0s live off the tax money of those who are earning. The taxes and tolls keep going up with zero improvement in driving conditions or transportation while there are tons of people whose routine is collecting welfare, living either without paying rent or on govt rental buildings and at the same time driving bmws, Infinities, Lexus, dodge etc and thinking they own the roads, spending nights in the bars. It sure is the most fkd up city of north America.

LOL! he probably thought you were trying to mug him! That's the difference I was talking about. Everyone says "hi / howdy" to everyone else regardless of how busy you are in the South
NY is a big city, folks hardly even know their neighbors. I took it like they are generally suspicious of strangers saying hello or tying to start a conversation.
I was asking for direction from a female student in a University in the South as I was trying to find the graduate school of admissions. She literally walked me to the office. I did thank that wonderful southern belle ! To this very day I still think maybe I should have asked for her number so I could thank her from the bottom of my heart in a dinner !

Get the feeling you don’t know nearly enough Americans to make that claim. Quite frankly, neither do I.

I just know there are good and bad folks in every corner of the globe.

Including I’m sure, your home your country too.
On the contrary, I do unfortunately.
There are a good number at my university too, not very liked by the locals for their sheer ignorance and rude behavior. I've also spent some time in America. Sure I can't lump you all together but there is a general mentality that's prevalent in your lot.

Sounds like you enjoy living at your city, good for you. Though, if I remember correctly, you were constantly posting in the forum just about 3 or 4 months ago asking for Pak to go to war. Why do you enjoy pushing a poor country (where majority of population will not get to enjoy all these things you listed above in your city if any war happens) into war while you enjoy all first world facilities that you pointed out above?
Look the thread is about NYC attitude not how enjoyable life in NY is. I merely stated the facts.
Regarding Pakistan going to war well its coming Pakistan's way you dont have to believe me I'm sure news media and everywhere this news is circulating. So Pakistan will have to go to war regardless of your opinion. I'm not going to indulge into self praising but some people like me have foresight and ask to take initiative and oblivious brains like you live in reactionary mode. That's the difference

As a New Yorker myself I disagree with this list. San Francisco and LA are worst, New Yorkers are living fast paced life so no one got time but that isn’t rude. When 9/11 happened and Sandy storm hit the city I remember people helping out eachother. One time city lost its power and random people from the streets started guiding the traffic on road and everyone pretty much followed. So I say bullshit!
Even when MTA goes on strike Newyorkers become one body helping each other. I've never come across such kind of devoted to their work kind of people. From hustler to the cop. Loved those times when EX Mayor of NYC Mike Bloomberg use to take public transportation but those who complain about NY attitude miss these small details about NY life style

Yes I did for a while, was on a long vacation. Worst idea ever, everyone there is rude and lives in fear. You can see it in their eyes.
I don't believe everyone here is rude or lives in fear. Not sure what you saw in their eyes either. All I can say is, if you are not comfortable in the US, then perhaps it's not the place for you. Sorry you feel that way

Hmm, nice try :partay:

I think at the end of the day, it depends on your luck and who you bump/talk to.

The many times I have been to the Big Apple was alright, but I prefer LA.

City is the most advanced place on earth.

Soon the rudeness will spread to villages and the whole world.

City is the center of human civilization, human behavior there is the reflection of the system (or environment where people live).

If the system creates rudeness, we know it's wrong and bad (whatever the benefit).

Some say Democracy + Capitalism is the end of the history...

I think it's not and the journey is still very long (not to mention the bloody struggles and catastrophics for the reformations for a better system until we reach the perfection).

If we remember the French Revolution, we thought it's the end, but it's not, because there's something we forget to put into the formula.

Rudeness is a reflection of human soul, because of unforgiveness from the sociaty in the competitive world to pursue more and more materialism.

We are trapped and must live according the system to survive and get happiness.

That system is what we called as the Dajjal system, a system that makes our soul darker and darker, and we became rude (aka. commited sins toward other human being or competitiors).
