A lot of prople live above 400 AQI round the year with no immediate impact, again no more than a bbq fire smoke minus the sizzling meats aroma.

Forest fires in Canada are getting worse every year. In 2021 I drive from Toronto to Vancouver and almost all the way across the country the air was full of smoke. This year is supposed to be one of the worst.
