‘New wine shops, conspiracy to destroy youth’

If you already have an image of Islam stamped in your heart without any proper research to seperate facts from fictions than thats the best we can do. Rest is upto you.

Yes, because the first thing when I think of Islam is Pakistan. Not quite dude. We were discussing Pakistan, the government and the role of Islam which is half applied. If you want to resort to tried and true tactics of generalizing and label applying to make you feel secure, please feel free to further assert your rights.

Discuss the topic, this was not a religious debate to begin with. No more off topic posts.

Here is what i call generalization and i think you have already done that, as you saw so you reap isn't it all about this :smokin:

Everytime you religious lot gather around to enforce religious rules,

average person suppressed by religion rulership enforcing religion on everyone but themselves.

Your entire country is a religious enforcement in essence!

Thanks for coming out jonasad. I have stated all that I think relevant to the topic. IF you do not want to debate properly then I need to browse another thread if you don't mind.

I am sure killing another human being is a much worse thing than driking alcholol, if people do protest, they should first protest against those who kill dozens of people everyday.

ab kitni baar yeh dekhain yaar,
everyday we hear bomb blast and protest, bomb blast, fatwa protest etc

We have other issues too........ lets move forward.

Guys, refrain from referring to religion here. We are not discussing religion. Try to get more social , health and safety perspectives.

As far as I know all the doctors I've had advised me to drink one glass of red wine a day. I get the good stuff flown in from Europe.

.
the people who dont drink and smoke are comparatively more healthier than a drinking smoking person right???

what wine is gonna do to youth which the society hasn't already done already, and those who are alcoholic they get it irrelevant you legalize drinking or not.

...Yeah it might be prohibited by Islam but how about your interest based banking system and economy? Your arms procurements with loans? ...average person suppressed by religion rulership enforcing religion on everyone but themselves.

The interest-based economy is a point we can't out-argue, there's no doublt. It is probably the single-most vicious collective act of revolt against the Creator according to our dogma. Loans are no problem if they aren't coming with the payment of interest, and we procure everything, not just arms, with loans with interest.

You answer the question yourself that the rulership doesn't impose the law on themselves. But there are problems in your statement. One, the rulership isn't religious. Some portions of does adopt a religious façade, since they think this is a more profitable political stratagem. Second, the rulership is indiscriminate in its non-enforcement on ANY law on themselves, religious or otherwise.

A personal note to you: the humility of attitude goes a long way in winning takers for your point of expression. Being abrasive only gets returned in kind.

i am not a drinker nor smoker. but i have heard from the doctors that drinking in moderation is not a health hazard.

I drink & smoke.

Anything in excess has implications. Yet banning does makes it worse.

Education helps moderate everything. Self discipline is the key.

an example is whether u even take the medicine in moderation or excess, it has side effects, the one taken in moderation has side effects but not much apparent..

also drinking is hazardous for a decent social environment, people who drink lose their senses, they are liable to commit crimes.. which they dont in their senses.

you can argue the moderation with regards to drink, but when it comes to smoking, there is no moderation or excess. smoking damages health no matter how much you smoke. full stop and end of it.
