‘New wine shops, conspiracy to destroy youth’

A drunk doesn't start of with the intention to get drunk or get into a car accident, but eventually it happens!

More than often, people get drunk by choice. They want to get intoxicated and they do it by choice.

Going over the top unwillingly is not a rarity, however it does occur willingly as well.

Consumption can be controlled in more than one ways by society itself.

I believe They are worried that suicide bombers might stop for bottle or two and forget to carry on there orders as the effects of drugs given to them might wear off.uh oh did i say that out loud now i will be declared Agent of Raw damn i have to learn to keep my mouth shut and mind my own business:angel:.

I sincerely doubt , wine will make them problomatic
Side effects of Wine = helps in digestion and regulation of blood sugar levels in moderate amount. Accessive usage equals failed liver

Fact of matter is all of the upper class in Pakistan has access to Wine and also Youth have ample supply of it , in black market.

Just add taxes on the drink ....

99% of ppl would probbly not drink it but the 1 % market will pay taxes on it.

Most of the ppl on international flights mostly Pakistanis are ordering wine

Wine was indeed part of Islam in early days , but it was outlawed as ppl missed prayers
so it was looked on as a negative influence so it was removed from muslim cities.

For God Sake Azad i thought u were a funny guy but this is really no a funny issue .
Wine (Sharab) is haram in Islam and It should not be allowed to be sold in public by opening specific shops for it .and for your information there are strict orders about wine in Quran so plz dont try to potray tht it is ok to sell wine .

Government have not allowed this **** in to pakistan , if someone needs to drink it then go and buy it from underground market no need to sell this sh*t in public.

if you consider youself muslim, then you shouldnt drink alchohol, even if it is openly sold. What should the non muslim citizens of pakistan do if there is no alchohol sold? They are equal citizens of the country as their muslim countrymen.

No brother the problem is if u open up the shops, then u are inviting the uninviteds .Like now they really dont have any problem in getting the wine , but before these shops they atleast have to try hard to get it illegally.

I remember I read in some book that i cant remember, that in Pakistan in 1977, alcohol was legal and almost anyone could buy it.

Im not sure if this is true, but i guess if it was Pakistan must have been a hell of a lot more different.

But opening special Wine shop will create nothing but problem for Pakistan.

They are sold at "special wine shops" already.

I don't smoke even though it's sold openly everywhere even with incentives (which is illegal). I choose not to. Nothing will force you to drink either.

There are more than enough reasons to legalize it already.

Are you even paying attention? It's been stated time and again (by me of course:)) that it was a political move by ZAB to appease Islamist elements since PNA was chanting Islamic slogans. By an executive order Alcohol and Gambling were declared illegal.

In the views of most pro-prohibitoners here, our grandparents must have been some sort of lesser muslims since they did not object to the sale of alcohol since they had a brain that could reason and use logic to guide them (also they did not demand Hudood, Blasphemy and Qisas & Diyat Laws).
