New rendition of Amar shonar Bangla released on 16.12.12

This is a new rendition of 'Amar Sonar Bangla' released on 16.12.12. I am somewhat surprised at the silence of the purists and self-appointed protectors of the Tagore legacy and the guardians of the spirit (chetona) of 1971. I thought it was not permissible to experiment with Tagore's songs so where is the outrage? Possibly the traditionalists and purists feel that they can no longer hold back the tide against such youthful creativity and imaginative fusion of cultures. This is a good thing in my opinion but it should extend to other areas as well such as history and politics which should similarly be open to reinterpretation, reinvestigation and if necessary a revision of our ideas, books and received wisdom. I am all for slaying holy cows .....

It's a crap song. It's anti Muslim. written by the ahole Tagore in direct response to Muslim Bengal having a separate administration during British raj. This song is an affront to the nation and should be dumped.

E Bangla is so fond of Tagore and Bangli spirit, so they have seperated land called Bangladesh.
W Bangla also so fond of Tagore and Bangali spirit, but they are with India!
