I'm trying to actually discuss the issue itself, but its you guys who keep to drag it into off-topic subjects. And I guess a normal discussion is not possible given the hostile attitude that Iranian users here has. And not only, you can see it in many different places.

Here are some of comments from an article in press tv for example:

"Time to recognize Karabakh as an armenian motherland"

"Iran should response harsh to these iranian province in N and those camel rider in Saudi yahudia."

"Both Azarbayjan and half of Turkey is Iranian land and we will take back what belongs to us and kick the Khazari Jews out. That's a promise."

Thats because of Persian racism, don't you think? Ethnic nationalism is growing among Azeri Turks in Iran, wether you would accept to see this or ignore it, and thats just a normal reaction to what they observe. Who use racist slurs such as "Torke Khar" all the time? And I don't need to read Persian to read thousands of racist comments by Persians all over the internet.

There are jokes about the turks , but there are 2 points to clarify :

1- they are made by ethnic turks who speak fluent persian and live in tehran , and they're about persians and other dark skinned people

2- there are jokes about all ethnic groups in iran including shirazis who are persians and are known for being lazy as$

Other than that there's no systematic racism agains the azeri in iran like in europe or america

Such comments are mutual, and what is theotherforum.net? Besides, go to Persian websites and see the comments they make about Azeri Turks. And insulting Azerbaijan is also insulting Azeri Turks as whole, some of these people are acting as if they love Azeri Turks within Iran but at the same time hate even the existence of Azerbaijan Republic, which is just absurd. I know this is only internet, but in fact this show their mentality.

I don;t really care if azerbaijan joined north azerbaijan , that'll give the persians self determination and a sense of responsibility and might even trigger the next persian golden age

That would be good for the both sides, because both sides are now leaning more and more towards ethnic nationalism instead of religion, and ethnic nationalism would bring conflict, and it does, but many choose to ignore the existence of it, regardless of the size of it.

i agree 100% , i'm not a kurd , if they're not comfortable with iran they should be given the choice to have their own country with north azerbaijan ; i actually wish such scenario happens so we can push all the arabs in the south into the sea!
