New generation of Dodge Charger

Many city Police departments have gone in for the Charger as replacement for the Crown Vic. Even our Campus Police is buying them now. It has a HEMI that switches to 4 cylinders for freeway driving. Kinda like a "semi-Hemi - but don't say that, it sounds stupid"!

I've never understood how the nation that's built the Space Shuttle, the F-16, F-22 and other formidable machines cannot make a decent automative

American cars are so far behind Europe, Japan and now South Korea it's scary.

Cars don't handle well with their generally poor dynamics, look terrible on the whole, and have the worst plasticky cheap interiors you'll find anywhere on Earth (ok, China is worse, but you get the point!)

Planting a V8 in a big 'muscle' car which goes fast in a straight line isn't a good performance car to Europeans, but it seems it is for Americans. Bizarre.

All that Air Force car is missing is a HUD.

It's a shame that high-quality HUD technology is so expensive. It's not just beaming data on a screen, it has to be focused at infinity, and there's some serious "magic" going on with the combining glass. A first experience with a good HUD leaves people in a bit of awe, a "how do they do that?" feeling.

I like to car is steriod car..all the buffed up look and very poor performance! A lexus IS300 beats this anyday any road any time
