So police had first said the constable had been stabbed to death, then changed the statement and said he was brutally beaten and trampled upon by violent protesters, then again changed the statement and said he was injured in the abdomen, chest and neck, then again changed the statement and said lets wait for postmortem report to come out. 
But on the contrary, the footage shows an injured girl protester herself and a male protester Yogendra trying to help the constable.
When you make a lie, you need to make a series of lies to cover the first lie. I just wonder how could some with no common sense have cracked the IPS! And these people want to take on an Army Chief!
The constable's son claims on TV that the protesters killed his father by repeatedly beating him!
BTW, the constable's family is going to be given around thirty lakhs money, even Amithabh Bachchan has promised to donate two and a half lakh money to his family.
Good, now they will need the money to fight a defamation case.

Your attitude that I need to show sympathy to the family by donating money is silly. Why are you on this forum then? What I do with my money is none of your business. If you want to continue with this line, maybe you should cut off your testicles to save some unfortunate girl from having to suffer someone such as yourself and that action would certainly help the world improve its gene pool.

Delhi gang-rape protests: Constable had no major external injury, says doctor
New Delhi: Delhi Police constable Subhash Chand Tomar, who was cremated with full state honours here on Tuesday, was not beaten up by protesters, but collapsed while walking, an eyewitness has claimed.
Meanwhile, Dr PS Sidhu at Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital has told a news agency that the constable had no major external injury marks when he was brought to the hospital. The constable is reported to have no fracture either.
According to Yogendra, the eyewitness, he and one of his female friends, who was injured, took the constable to hospital. He had noticed Tomar collapsing while walking towards protesters.
"He wasn't trampled by the protestors, he wasn't assaulted. He just collapsed while walking. There was a girl with me at that time. We both saw him lying on the ground, and then I picked him up and took him to the hospital in a police van," said Yogendra.
"I don't know what they (Delhi Police) are saying, but what I am speaking is the truth," he added.
The eyewitness further said that no case has been registered against him so far.
"No case been registered against me, and neither have I come in contact with the police," he added, when asked whether there was any case registered against him.
The Delhi Police, however, refused to comment on the boy's claims, saying it would be able to speak on the issue only after receiving the post-mortem report.
"The doctors, who conducted the post-mortem of Constable Subhash Tomar have told us that there were injuries on stomach, chest and neck. And post-mortem report will only tell the cause of death and before we get the post-mortem any comment on the cause of death will be pre-mature," said Delhi Police spokesperson Rajan Bhagat.
"Therefore, we request not to make it an issue before we get any post-mortem report. We have not declared any cause of death so far, we are waiting for the post-mortem report," he added.
The Delhi police have claimed that Tomar was beaten up by protesters at India Gate during the anti-rape protests. Eight people have been booked in the case, which also includes a member of Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party.
The 47-year-old constable died early Tuesday due to respiratory and cardiovascular problems sparked off by Sunday's alleged attack on him on a road leading to India Gate during protests against the brutal gang-rape of a 23-year-old woman on December 16 night in a moving bus in south Delhi.

New Delhi, Dec 26: 21-year-old Yogendra, who was an eyewitness of the Subhash Chand Tomar episode during the anti-gang-rape protest in Delhi on Dec 23, cornered Delhi police with his latest exposé.
Yogendra, a student of Juornalism of Ambedkar collage, said that constable Tomar collapsed on his own while chasing protesters on India Gate along with other policemen, and no one had beaten him. Yogendra's statement on TV channel on Tuesday, Dec 25 ignited controversy over Tomar's death. Earlier many people had claimed that Tomar had suffered a cardiac arrest. However, Delhi police reiterated that protesters had attacked him during the protest in front of India Gate and hence he fell unconscious. During an interview with a TV channel, Yogendra was quoted as saying, "I am surprised that the police are blaming protesters for his death and trying to implicate some of them even after knowing that this was not their fault."
Yogendra along with his fellow protester had helped other police constables to rush Tomar to a nearby hospital on the fateful day. According to the eyewitness, two accomplices of Tomar left him to his fate. Yogendra also claimed that he had given his contact numbers to Delhi police, but he did not receive any calls from the latter.
He was quoted as saying, "But after Tomar's death, he was not contacted.
He could view TV channels only in the afternoon to find that Tomar had died and a different story is being circulated by the Delhi Police." Finally "after realizing that the Delhi Police were trying to give Tomar's death another twist to implicate innocent students", Yogendra turned up to the media to tell his part of the tale. Delhi police have already filed murder charges against eight accused who earlier were arrested allegedly over attacking Tomar.
All of them, however, later got bail and were freed. One of the accused were from Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Kejriwal on Tuesday said that there was not a single proof of evidence and the government was falsely framing the youths. He suspected the government was trying to seek revenge by framing him, Baba Ramdev and General VK Singh. The activist-turned-politician said he was in favour of punishing the guilty but if there was no proof against them, he would stand by them. He said there was no prima facie evidence.

India democracy is a struggle. I hope that there would be less suffering and even death as India mature as a democracy. This is why countries of East Asia didn't become a democracy until it had reached a certain level of economic and human development.

Just because you haven't seen one doesn't mean it doesn't happen. It probably happens 10 times worse as compared to India. And not just that , at least the women who are raped in India get to fight for justice and win many times. In Pakistan , either they hide the fact that they were raped , due to shame. Or they are stoned to death for getting raped , or they are married off to the guy who raped them. Also , if a women tries to prevent eve teasers from troubling her , she is just doused in Acid , either by the eve teasers , or by her own parents.

Gangrape victim flown to Singapore hospital renowned for transplants
In a last-ditch effort to save her life, doctors on Wednesday night flew the 23-year-old Delhi gangrape victim to Singapore for treatment at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, renowned for conducting multiple transplants.
A private air ambulance with ventilator facility left Delhi airport around 11.10 pm with the woman and nine other passengers, including her parents, Dr Yatin Gupta, the head of Safdarjung Hospital’s Critical Care Unit, and a team of doctors.
The woman’s siblings followed on a commercial flight.
Sources said the government decided to fly her out on Tuesday afternoon, and Safdarjung Hospital authorities were directed that evening to prepare her to move. For a final opinion, cardiovascular surgeon Dr Naresh Trehan was invited to the hospital on Wednesday morning.
Dr Trehan seconded the view of other surgeons that despite a fresh cardiovascular complication in the wee hours of Wednesday, the woman was stable enough to fly. Besides, a successful intestinal transplant, her only shot at a “complete recovery”, has not been performed in India so far.
After hush hush preparations through the day, the woman was finally driven out of the hospital in an ambulance around 10.30 pm. The specialised private Club One air ambulance with the call sign VT ARE was expected to fly her to Singapore in around six hours. The aircraft has a multi-engine turbine that minimises air turbulence, sources said.
Earlier on Wednesday, the government contacted Mount Elizabeth Hospital, which has treated Indian celebrities and politicians earlier. The hospital was intimated them of the woman’s case and condition, and a formal arrangement was made for her admission. The ministry of external affairs completed all passport and visa formalities for the family within hours.
A PTI report quoted the woman’s father as saying the family had not been told where they were being taken. “We don’t know anything. We don’t know where we are going. All we have been told is we are going abroad. Me, my wife and the entire family is going with her (the victim),” he said.
The woman’s brother had repeatedly told The Indian Express that the family was keen she is treated abroad. This was at a time when several private hospitals in India had been asking to treat her.
Late on Wednesday night after the air ambulance had taken off, Dr B D Athani, medical superintendent of Safdarjung Hospital, said the woman had been given “the best of the available medical aid” during her 10-day treatment at the hospital.
“With fortitude and courage, the girl survived the after-effects of the injuries so far well. But the condition continues to be critical. Based on the advice of a team of doctors, the Government of India has made arrangements for the patient being shifted in a well-equipped air ambulance,” Athani said.
He said Singapore had been chosen because it was comparatively close and the hospital has a state-of-the-art multi-organ transplant facility. The treatment might take weeks, Athani said.
Sources told The Indian Express that while experts at Safdarjung Hospital felt they were competent to manage the patient, the suggestion to move her was made by doctors in the team assisting them.
The first signs of moving the patient were seen around 5 pm on Wednesday. At 5.30 pm, with heavy police deployment at the hospital, the woman’s brother was brought to the medical superintendent’s office. Her parents were already waiting there with two duffel bags. A PCR van then brought in more bags and a bunch of files which police officers said were treatment records. The hospital cancelled two health bulletins on her condition at 4.30 pm and 6.30 pm.
Around 10 pm, three ambulances were brought outside the ICU building. Two — one belonging to Safdarjung Hospital and the other to a private charitable organisation — were possibly decoys. The third, a Medanta ambulance in which Dr P K Verma, head of emergency, and other intensivists were travelling, is believed to be the one in which the woman was taken away.
Over the next half hour, two patients, complete with cardiac monitor, oxygen mask and ventilator, and surrounded by teams of doctors, were taken to two ambulances. At 10.35 pm, a third patient — possibly the victim — was brought out and wheeled inside the Medanta ambulance, surrounded by ICU doctors. The patient was on a ventilator and cardiac monitor, and appeared to be covered in bandages from face to abdomen.

I have a strong feeling that this is ending tragically, I believe the government is doing this to show that it is trying everything (they are, not their fault) but they just wanted the girl out of India when the inevitable happens. She is in no condition for any transplant procdure. Hope very much that I'm wrong but the sinking feeling I'm experiencing makes me believe I'm not.
