But you clearly missed out the parts they imported direct from US for initial dong feng assembly. It is clearly with the blessing from AM. They even assist Chinese in the subsequent assembly line. There is another Chinese humvee version by shenyang which is indeed copy of humvee but none of the parts are specific from AM. And they are not endorsed by PLA. But the one received Bangladesh are made by dong feng and not shenyang.

DFM has cooperated with AM General Motors on getting American-made parts for the first EQ2050s made.


First they imported the same US humvee chasis which cannot make into any other vehicle other than humvee. Then they help set up the assembly plant with licensed US engine. Are you saying the US counterparts clearly know the Chinese plant is going to copy their vehicle and they still happily help Chinese counterpart to shoot their own foot? The EQ2050 contain parts cooperated with AM general Motors in local produced, how can you claim it can be a copy when they clearly give the blessing with cooperated parts in knowing Chinese intention?
