Hmm...the soldiers are holding a newer version of BD-08 rifle, but there are not much significant attachment to the rifle(grenade launcher, laser,etc.). Furthermore, special forces uses M4 or MP5, which has better accuracy and can be used in close quarter battle. BD-08 is better in roughing it out in the jungle.

Could it be that these soldiers are actually a more elite version of infantryman, but lesser than that of the commandos.

US supply engines to DF humvee and subsequent license produced the engines.

just because some parts are American does not mean its license produced

you will be surprise the US manufacturer is willing to cooperate with Chinese manufacturer in producing some military equipment despite so called military embargo enforced. From my link, it written very clearly the dong feng EQ2050 cooperate with US AM in manufacturing the Chinese humvee. Initial parts was using imported from US and slowly Chinese absorbed the technology and make the remaining one.

But you clearly missed out the parts they imported direct from US for initial dong feng assembly. It is clearly with the blessing from AM. They even assist Chinese in the subsequent assembly line. There is another Chinese humvee version by shenyang which is indeed copy of humvee but none of the parts are specific from AM. And they are not endorsed by PLA. But the one received Bangladesh are made by dong feng and not shenyang.
