I am not sure the way they implement this is fine or not, but i definitely support tax on Business/First class tickets. i mean, a common man doesn't travel in them so that shouldn't affect him. Introduce a Withholding Tax on the ticket bookings. If you provide your tax number and details at the booking or airport, you can get your tax back. Simple.

We need to force all these haramkhor and chor businessmen into paying.

Sir please provide me link... the tax is only valid on those tickets which were bought before june as i have paid on lahore airport just for departure not for arrival.... Passengers who have have tickets issued after new budget don't have to give to this tax......

for your kind information every country in the world have their own tax on each ticket you purchased. On this forum i was not expecting that thread will be start on the basis of PTI FB page photo ....

Majority of the people flying First class (I've heard figures in the region of 65%) are on company tickets, industry discounts, or for travel sponsored by someone else. E.g me going for my annual holdiay or some company business.

Very few pay for such tickets from their own pocket.

It is true that every country has taxes, but it seems that the financial wonder-team is unable to increase revenues by any other means.

How much agriculture tax collected? How much tax on acres of land owned by the rich and wealthy?

What about people who earn abroad and then come to Pakistan?

Secondly, there are literally a million other ways of DIRECTLY taxing the absconders and going after them instead of taxing such things such as internet, phone cards and travel facilities.
