You know what annoys me? They don't even do anything to dissuade the Alt-right in Europe. Gerd Wilders is still spewing his rubbish. Now he will have even more fuel to feed on. All these people do is drag Pakistan image even lower. Well it is already low but I suppose they want to drag it even lower then one country below us - Afghanistan.

Diplomatic Relations should have been seized back then till Holland can Introduce measures to protect fascist ideologies being mainstreamed through politics.

It is hilarious when Imran Khan talks about attracting foreign tourists to Pakistan.

Forget about Goras, Army had to step in to save some British Sikhs from being lynched by the TLP crowd.

Unfortunately this looks like the doors for Pakistanis to the civilized world are slowly being closed.

Whoever is responsible for spreading fake news should be punished severely and these media outlets should verify before publishing it but unfortunately they are bent on giving Pakistan and GOP are a bad name.

This is not credible news. The Dutch media hasn't reported anything.

Netherlands government is Islamaphobe ... Their embassy staff want to leave, fine.

Your court acquitted the woman.

They didn't come to acquit her.

Now she is concerned about her life and hiding in another embassy, your islamists want to kill her.

Netherlands embassy is diplomatic building and is legally not Pakistan, despite being located in Pakistan.

Attacks on diplomatic staff or assets is considered a war against that nation. Threatening diplomatic staff is not exactly the way diplomacy is conducted.

How would you react if Pakistani officials got death threats in some other part of the world?

No one was attacked. Some people need to work on controlling their hyper sensitivity.

Great, just when Pakistan was trying to boost its tourism industry by getting vloggers and youtubers into the country! Way to screw it up. :tsk:
I travel in pakistan and i dont want tourists. But why did the dutch leave? They are so well protected in the diplomatic enclave it would take an army to get to them. I know i have been in there many times

You might not want tourists in Pakistan, but people who earn their livelihood from tourism industry would love to see more tourists coming into Pakistan.

As to why the Dutch decided to leave, well whats the point if the embassy staff have to stay couped up in the diplomatic zone as if they were under some sorta house arrest? I am sure they have must have done their risk assessment and decided accordingly.

It's a fake news ffs.
Or do we need to keep beating it up and down?

The embassy of the Netherlands resumed all consular and visa services after temporarily halting issuing visas amid reports of security concerns.

The Dutch officials on Monday announced that courier services in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad can “immediately start giving appointments to accept visa applications”, according to a statement.

“The Embassy of the Netherlands in Pakistan is open. The issuance of visa has been halted temporarily. Last week, the embassy was temporarily closed for two days because of construction work,” said another statement, issued by the embassy earlier in the day.
