What's new

Neptune joined military

.
Many of the senior users of PDF would know about our Neptune.

A week ago he joined military. He is going to be a Commanda and now, he is under intense training in Foça/İzmir.

3 Months later, he will swore the "Commando oath"
and most probably he will take part in the operations against PKK.

We are very proud of you my brother. :)

Very proud!!!

Thank you brothers, this meant a lot. Dualarınız yeter :)

Ex- navy i guess.
But that's a part of their compulsory training before they join college.

@Neptune congrats once again!

and you also ma'am ..

. .
Whoa!!
Look who's back...
How's life Mr.Pluto/Neptune or whatever you are now?? Lol

Not pretty much different than I could imagine. It's near end the course so COs are more tolerant since two weeks later know most of the people will be deployed at East.

Just too cold for a city like Izmir. How's our teacher has been doing so far?

. . .
OK, thanks for the info mate,

I hope Neptune prepare his intention before going to battle, even our police special force use Ridho ALLAH as their motivation.

What is Ridho Allah?

.
Oh!
Cold as in how cold?
It is cold at 22 degrees for me. Lol

The most recent achievement of teacher is getting a troll student off her tail. Lol

Like 10 °C lol. But in my hometown it was minus 4-5 lol.

The deal is not the whether. It's the night cold, mountain heights and the goddamn strong wind. Imagine when these are combined.

The irony is one month after I started here, I find my country having shot down a Russian fighter

Old US Navy saying; Don't ask, don't tell.
It's fine in general. At the start it was like hitting the wall, GF break up, concerns of 60+ year old parents, maniac specialists and more. Physically it can be tiring if you're not committed to this life mentally..complex

Yeah, yeah. I'm not asking it is hell or not. :) Of course it's hell. But seems like your holding well.

No serious physically injuries, no "Hava değişimi, RDM"....it's okay. :D

 Wimp. Average temp this time of year for Norway? 2 °C, try the cold waters of the North Sea sometime. Oh, and not just sailing, try swimming in icy waters, at night, during an SAR op:

How long are you planning on serving? I did four years, but my military service helped me get a job with a defense contractor when I left, so I still have close relations with the military. Congrats Neptune, well deserved and best of luck to you. Stay safe.

And do you recognize me? I changed my account... again, for the second time:partay:.

GF break up

:o::( Make your way up to Sandefjord sometime, maybe for a training op with our special ops, I'll treat you to dinner and some fun around town.

.
Anyone we know?

And you?

Abim, There are numerous commando units of Gendarmerie all over the country. It can be Bursa as much as it can be Doğu. But I have met with great folks here like a man from central Anatolia. He works at a car repairs shop. He joined the service because his father in law didn't permit him to marry unless he does his service. For example if that guy picks Southeast from the "lottery", I'd be glad to exchange with mine. Other than that, whereever comes I plan to go for it, since like 2 months later I'll have to deal with Spc. Sgt exams.
