Negative 47 degrees Celsius! Cold snap freezes N China

I have been in these conditions.

I remember a very still quiet (no wind etc...) night that was so cold (near - 50 C)....I could hear my frozen breath crystals falling on the snow behind me each time when I stopped walking. It was quite a magical sound.
