It is pathetic to haggle between Pakistani and Saudi brothers over man power and money.. This pathetic discussion resulted from the fact that we all have not setup proper institutions in advance to deal with calamities and disasters like in Yemen.

The need of the hour is to quickly setup at least a defense institution as PGCC joint task force.
main task for this is to control the anarchy resulting from the ugly breakdown off the governments.

This force should establish military bases in the region with consultation of the military commanders. Cost and man power will be all shared and help drastically cut down the individual spending by pooling resources from all parties.

JTF-PGCC is the way to go.

p.s. If iran comes out of international sanctions it should be invited to join PGCC. As GCC should expand to both sides of Gulf.

Pakistan should stay away form the meddlings of Arab states. As a Japanese, I can say that its best to look to one's own affairs, and the only time Pakistan should intervene militarily is to cater to the needs of her citizens in the MIddle East in the event wider conflict cannot be abated. Let that region deal with their own menace and problems.

The Parliament of Pakistan and the Pakistan Military should be reserved for the protection of the Nation's own borders. The 180 million Pakistanis need the protection of its own military , and the military should not be sent abroad for the interests of foreign states who have never contributed for the defense of Pakistan in past wars.

Let us all learn from the quagmire of Syria, Iraq, Sudan, Libya, Egypt. Stay out of the catastrophe in the Middle East...

Nihonjin bhai jaan

I respect your views. Please look at it from a different angle. Libya became bad because there was no stabilizing force in post-Qaddaafi era.

Same thing can be said for other countries.

In post WW-2 era, major parts of EU and Asia became stable because there was joint task forces to stamp out anarchy.

Just imagine what would be Germany today if Hitler was defeated and no NATO/USA there to stabilize. Without stabilizing force, post WW-2 Germany would have turned out to be very similar to post WW-1 Germany.

Hope you realize there are different ways to look at the same problem.

However an action is always better than NO-action.

Peace to you.

Joint task force (PGCC) will only work if Arabs treat Pakistan as equals . That to me sounds like a bleak scenario . That's my 2 paisa on this topic .

Any involvement in Pakistan in any war regions in the middle east will further strain Pakistani-Iranian relations. It is not worth the haggle, headache to involve itself in this proxy conflict. Pakistan must look to herself, and consolidate relations with Turkey, Iran, and the Eurasian states. Over 180 million Pakistanis do not need their precious land to be involved in any tertiary activities or proxy wars of minor states. Pakistan has to continue its war against TPP and other terrorists on the border. The infrastructure also needs to be taken care of , and priority should be placed on domestic development.

Please don't compare the way Pakistani soldier is treated by Saudi officer
to
the way Indian, Pakistani, Bdeshi brick layer is treated by low level Arab staff in the street.

Not that I condone bad behavior towards brck layer.

Hope you understand.

Looks like you took my answer the "flag way" . Arabs treat everyone else except goras inferior's . Hope it clarifies my position ,

This region is like that only . "Not playing a game(choosing sides) is also a game" in this scenario for arabs . Looks like Iranians understand Pakistani psychology far better than Arab world .

What will Iran do?

My friend, the potential is unprecedented between Pakistan and Iran. We have to think beyond our own borders and beyond the present realities on the ground. As you and I may already know --- Iran will soon be removed from sanctions as per the forthcoming nuclear energy deal which will be finalized this coming June. Once the sanctions are removed, you will see the rush of international partners to develop Iran , which is the world's 2nd largest natural gas producer, and 3rd largest oil source. Pakistan being a nation that shares a contiguous land border with Iran will benefit from this boom in infrastructure and investments , especially in border communities. This is a chance for regions in the Khyber and Pakthunwa to develop, a chance for infrastructure projects such as major farming , hydroelectric dams, nuclear power plants, wind turbine, as well as factories to develop. Border cities such as Qila Safed, Turbat, Pasni, Gwadar and surrounding communities will develop. Incidentally, my friend, we should note the plans for the Iranian-Pakistani-Chinese-Eurasian Pipeline , which will distribute much needed energy from Iran to all parts of Southern, Central, and Eastern Asia. These political and economic blessings will be seen, and in due time, and it is important why Pakistan must maintain a pragmatic policy in regards to foreign affairs.

I believe that the Pakistan Government will see the wisdom of the Pragmatic approach.

Glory unto Pakistan. Pakistan Zindabad!
