Need some info about ib

Hi
I have some questions regarding job in ib. (1)job description of general duty (GD) bps 11?
(2)what is the next promotion and in which grade?
(3)what is the complete salary package including special daily allowance for the post of gd bps 11?
(4)Is there any life insurance?
(5)Do they provide quatr (house)?

1: GD 11 is likely a Field Job. IB doesn't work like ISI so its not really exciting/
2: There is a probation period of 5 years. During that do not even think about promotion. So therefor it may take 8-9 years.
3: Salary Package of GD BPS 11 is around 38-40k.
4: Limited amount of cash is handed over to the family in case of death.
5: During the 5 years probation period. You'll likely be living without the family so a limited amount would be provided for housing which isn't really much. Its around 6-8k.

I'd say that the such position in IB isn't really great. You won't be having much perks except a little power. Or something to call a rank that at least cops or others can't easily humiliate you like they do to the citizens. Go for it. Better than private jobs.

what type of field job is it regarding intelligence gethering or something else?
u did not mention about next promoting rank and bps?

Imran is right. IB really sucks and does not care for its Operatives except those on higher ranks.

Regarding your question "Next Rank and BPS"

There are no certain ranks in IB except Sub Inspector and Inspector (so on) ..

Below them are GDs with BPS rankings. So after GD BPS 11. Its GD BPS 12. Promotion has no fixed criteria. Naukar Shahis are ahead.
