Some British people can be the most sophisticated and articulate people in the world and some can be the most racist and un-educated human beings that exist. Unfortunately for Britain, the latter are on the rise.

When I was in community college in USA at southern California, there was this Whtie British female physics teacher. I asked her is there a large Indian population in the UK. She told me yes, and immediately said :" they are brought here as cheap labor".

Trust me that colonial era have given them the advantage to explore other people and countries and have a positive view of the others. i have been living in the UK for 10 years and having a pretty decent life with not much problem. the people are good, my neighbours are good, my colleagues are good. yes, i personally have faced racism and have had some unpleasant experiences, but other aspects of the country are good and you can ignore those things. when i reported the racist incident to the police, police made sure to listen carefully to me and help me, they even increased the police patrol in the area to ensure us about our safety. yes, you can have problems in the UK, but where else there is no problme? i have faced racism and humiliation in my own country a milion times worse than here. so dont just take teh example of that woman to generalize british public.

My wife and I came to Leicester in 1966 from India, land of different faiths such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Christianity, Islam, Zorasterism and Sikhism, co-existing with each other for centuries.
