NDTV: India's Faceoff with China A sign of The Future

After China fuking Japan, you call China agressive and dangerous country. USA nuked your sh!t out of @ss, now they become your peace protector. That's a wonderful story and case.

Japan lost the war and was stripped of its military capabilities not only to the interests of the US but also to the interest of the rest of Asia as they didn't want to see a Japan that was reconstructing themselves successfully to became militarily capable again. So Japan throughout the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s, Japan kept military capabilities low and legeslatively forbidden basically on the same premise to not invoke concerns about the past. You should know that. So I don't understand why you make a point about Japan being militarily weak? So because Japan was no longer a player in security affairs out of everyone's interest, naturally America would be left with the duty to ensure security and stability throughout the region for all that time.

But now the US, Australia, the Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam, Singapore, and India all are embracing a new change Japan is taking in order to become a player in regional security affairs. America will always be the bigger country. There's no way for a Japan that has little metal resouces and almost no energy natural resources to became a mega power like America. But Japan still has a lot of capabilities to offer to any partner nations, and there are many.

Japan was stripped of military capabilities which is only a very small part of WWII result. You should be restricted to the 4 islands decided by the winners. You should sincerely accept the war loser, as like you are humble enough to USA, otherwise your future is becoming more gloomy. Last time, becuase China and Russia's maritime capacity were limited, so only the one USA occupied Japan after WWII. You should pray for Japan has another lucky next time.

Such a degenerate form of thinking.

They say there is no bad dog, there is only bad master. Japan is very bad when you get on with China, Russia and Korea, while Japan is ridiculously good when treating USA. Very pleased to exchange ideas with you, it remind me we should learn more from USA how to deal with Japan problem.

He is a foreigner not a Japanese, more likely an American who live in Japan.

Your way of thinking is the same that countries like France had towards Germany after WW1 as it punished the generations born after the war. Why should the generations born after a war still be punished for something they did nothing about?

It is also historically unintelligent to not look at the geopolitical history of those times at the causes of war and to try to learn from history in order to make a better future. We have had over 70 years of no war, and now you want to make war because of something that happened over 70 years ago. Your crazy.

Let’s hope that Indians have the balls to remain in the Chinese territory!

Who said anything about war? So long as Japan respects China's authority, there will be no war. But if Japan keeps going down the road Abe's taking it, it might just get its skull cracked.

Japan, as we say a little Japan, is out of any International play! Try to stick with the US . China will deal with your master not you...

China's giving vision of coercive authority is unacceptable. So keep up with creative threat posts.

Until Japan goes nuclear, if China pushes hard enough.

If you are a real Japanese try to pray that China won’t revenge! If you try to derail the thread, screw you and your emperor, a stupid decendant of Chinese!

Pls go nuclear!Give us an excuse to erase JP for good!

You think nuclear weapons are going to help you? If you so much as think of acquiring nuclear weapons, China will annihilate you. So your choices are these:
  1. Obey and be safe.
  2. Defy and be beaten.
  3. Defy flagrantly and be obliterated.

Damn this look like CPC's Indian mouthpiece .Btw thanks @Dungeness for making my copy job easier by highlighting the required CPC words :D:D

I was repeatedly asked whether India had forgotten that its economy is five times smaller than China's. Perhaps, one got the impression, India needed to be shown its place.

While Indians have never quite forgotten our humiliating loss in that war, China has rarely chosen to remind us of it.

The problem is that India does not quite know its place. This makes sense when one considers its vision of its past and its expectations of its future. Independent India inherited the Raj's armies -- the peacekeepers of Asia and Africa -- and with them, the Raj's self-image as dominant east of Aden. It has always viewed itself as at least China's equal in spite of the 1962 loss -- and even as its northern neighbor raced ahead economically. That was a minor setback, Indians feel; eventually we'll catch up, once we sort our messy politics out. And meantime, why not behave as if we already have?

Typical western report will hype up China aggression movement while
Ignoring others. Vietnam has long started shoal building since early 2000 and aggressive militaries many of its islet and expanding them and yet the western media will never tell you such thing. Yet they never claim this action as changing the status quo. Same as Japan who first nationalise the diaoyutai island.

Instead of pointing at China and claim as aggressive. Why not look at Indian pushy and aggressive policy towards its neighbour? There is a reason why bangladesh and Nepal has serious problem with India.

So why did Bhutan lodged a protest with peaceful china on this doklam issue ?

We are engaging these Indians from the other side for quite long...Chinese party will cripple Indians

Was this thinking also a part of Pakistanis wet dream of taking Kashmir from India :D
