Ok, I was a little bored and was reading news online. Came across Nawaz Sharif assets which are released by ECP two days ago. Here is simple search into Nawaz Sharif's assets:


Net Assets declared by NS in his nomination papers (April 2013) = Rs. 0.262 billions
(He was broken, received some loan from his mother and son as per his nomination papers)


In Dec, 2013, ECP published latest assets, NS assets = Rs 1.824 billions
(whooping increase in less than a year)


9th Jan, 2015, a year later, ECP again published assets details. NS Assets = Rs 2.36 billions
(this makes NS the riches politician of the country in less than a year)

One observation: A jump in the shareholding of Chaurdy sugar mill (10 million) alone has resulted in an increase of assets by a whopping PKR 100 Million in 2014.

یہ کہانی پڑھ کر ایک بات تو کم از کم مجھے سمجھ آ ہی گئی ہے کہ لندن کے فلیٹس، سعودی عرب کے کارخانے، بھارت میں کاروباراور رائیونڈ کا محل سونے کے انڈے دینے والی مرغی یا قارون کے خزانے کے بغیر تو نہیں بن سکتے، ویسے میں نے قارون کا خزانہ دریافت ہونے کی خبر بھی آج تک میڈیا پر نہیں سنی ورنہ مجھے یقین آ جاتا کہ وہ خزانہ رائیونڈ محل کے نیچے ہی زمین میں دھنسایا گیا تھا جو میاں صاحب کو کسی ’بزرگ‘نے خواب میں آ کر بتادیا اور وہ ملک کے امیر ترین شخص بن گئے۔

بیان کردہ کہانی کو اگر کوئی شخص چیلینج کرے یا اسے جھوٹ کہے تو اس کو چاہیئے کہ وہ میاں صاحب سے صرف سیاست کر نے کے باوجود ملک کا امیر ترین شخص بن جانے کا نسخہ پوچھ کرذرا مجھے بھی بتا دے چاہے وہ نسخہ بذاتِ خود سیاست کر نا ہی کیوں نہ ہولیکن بتائے ضرور تاکہ میرے نادان دل کو تسلی تو ہو سکے اورہو سکتا ہے کہ کبھی قسمت کی دیوی میاں صاحب سے فارغ ہو کر ہم عوام پر بھی مہربان ہو جائے۔

What's stopping this govt to go after those who don't declare assets properly or pay taxes? I say do a ruthless crack down, starting from Bani Gala and then Riwind Palace to the last inch of this country, no?

For all his loud criticism of other politicians, Imran Khan had among the lowest levels of transparency about the value of his own assets. His financial disclosures did not bother to declare neither cost nor the market values of assets that he claims to have inherited or had gifted to him.

Imran claimed that the 37.5-acre house in the village of Mohra near Islamabad, commonly known as Bani Gala, was gifted to him, though he did not specify from whom and why. He also declared that he inherited several properties, including the 4,462 square yard house in Zaman Park Lahore, a 303 square yard house in Mianwali, 10 acres of land in Sheikhupura, and various pieces of land in different areas of Bhakkar measuring a total of 297 acres. Unlike the PML-N leadership, he specified neither the purchase price nor current market value for any of these properties.

The PTI chief also claimed that he purchased Rs32.7 million worth of assets that were valued at Rs29.7 million last year. He claims to own over 66 acres of agricultural land in Khanewal, which he claims cost him Rs50,000. He also claims to have bought 30.5 acres of land in Bhakkar for Rs4.2 million and a 4,114 square yard plot of land in Mohra Noor Islamabad for Rs5 million.

He also has a foreign currency account at Bank Alfalah, a Toyota Prado that he values at Rs5 million, and personal effects that he values at Rs500,000. He also owns two cows and a buffalo worth Rs300,000.

Oh spare me from this BS. The fact that govt is reluctant to punish those who don't declare their real assets and those who don't pay proper taxes is either because this govt is inept or the rulers themselves are criminals.

And talking about inherited property or gifts. Have you ever read the assets NS disclosed to ECP in his nomination papers? His source of income was politics; his house, cars and land was gift from his son, mother and friends; he was bechara maqrooooz of his own son and mother. Go figure it out first.

Now either he lied about his assets back in 2013, or his assets increased dramatically after becoming Prime Minister (since his source of income is Politics). What should be done with Nawaz Sharif as per law?
