I really don't feel much sympathy for the people. They deserve it. They keep electing the same corrupt daku's again and again, so they really deserve this treatment. Lanat on Awam and Lanat on Nawaz Sharif. How is the security situation in the country supposed to improve, when this much manpower is deployed to only protecting the Royal Family.

In this climate whatever it is required to keep him safe. Better to go overboard than risk his life. If Pakistan lost their PM then that would be the end of any potential FDI. We can start debating ethics when terrorism is finished. Thats a nice problem to have.

You say that as if this is some anamaly when it's not. VIP-culture is sad state in Pakistan and our leaders are some of the worst offenders. Instead of making Pakistan secure for all they are busy ramping up their own security. These are the people who instead of working towards providing good health care in Pakistan go abroad just for a health check-up. How do you expect these people to fix the issues faced by ordinary pakistani when they themselves aren't exposed to them?

What is this "protocol" supposed to achieve? Security? I can easily see several ways to cause mayhem and danger for the convoy without even trying hard.
