The meeting that NS had with army chief yesterday was on precondition and one of the condition was accountability across the board. So we can all imagine what it means and surely what NS will do because rest assured he is not going to do any sort of accountability what so ever. It would be better for him to stay put and does not interfere in the hornets nest. But Nawaz being Nawaz and moron that he is, i am pretty sure he is going to make the same mistake again and which will result in his downfall. I just hope that Army shows constraint and let this fucker complete his term. Because only than can people realize how much roshan of a Pakistan is left. If he gets an early boot out, he will simply cry "Huma mudut poori nahi kerna diya gaya, werna Pakistan aj Asian tiger hota"
Anyone who'se dad is a newly commissioned Soldier in the Pak Army will be writing "expert comments" on here. We have too many fan boys and "analysts" who should rather manage "lists" of stuff than doing the analysis part
I had written about this meeting three days ago, before it took place. No, it wasn't the Army Chief "dictating" to NS, or like this thread says "NS, trying to find an "obedient" army chief". These are silly and stupid threads to start for fools fun.
Both NS and RS work actually very well together. There are times when there are issues. And its no different than issues at times between what the Pentagon thinks and what the White House wants. But the White House wins and the military's voice is never conveyed to the media due to a strong democratic system. In Pakistan, its the opposite. The military due to her rule of 60 years is glorified and they want to continue to stay on the media. Whatever works for them, as the nation will still respect them no matter what, or how much they are or on or off media.
Here, in this regards. NS and RS actually communicated to each other on issues outside of internal situation. In fact, NS told RS that he wants to clean up the corruption mess once and for all and if he's in it, he would rather go home than stay. RS agreed that to go forward the cleanup must be done. AND RS told NS that he has already sent a message (third time in three years) to IK that he needs to back off and play normal. Don't play his thug games as there will not be a derailment of the system. RS had other pressing issues on CPEC and on budget, etc. This was a small conversation as I know it.
So there you have it. Quit being negative all the time and write gossip that is sensitive. Your country is going through a HUGE modernization effort, and at this time, she needs growth, not leg pulling and the usual cry baby drama that's been going on for decades!!
