This does not absolve Altaf Hussain. This is typical MQM logic - If we are doing this so are others.

What is the issue here? Karachi peace. It seems MQM does not like peace in Karachi. Its because of peace Altaf has gone bonkers. Its because of peace that MQM has set up another stage drama of resignations.
Its a very strange fact. 8000 people were target killed in Karachi between 2008 and 2013. The time when MQM was in power. It never resigned from assemblies for lack of peace. Altaf never thundered and fumed for people of Karachi like he does now.
Only when Karachi has gained some peace and MQM target killers and extortionists have been nabbed, you f*cking as*holes are going crazy!
No country allows parties to be run from abroad. No country allows criminal to hide in political parties and do wanton killing. No country allows any party to be run from abroad, breed criminals and then defend these nefarious acts by blaming army or the country. Pakistan has granted you all this and much more! Seems now time is up.
You should be ashamed of your acts and even more for defending the criminals and not being an aide to law enforcement to apprehend those criminals.

btw in musharaf's time pakistan had an awesome growth
the army had been modernized (first they were equip with smg now even lowest rank have g3 and com system )
if something gone bad it was due to political pressure such as kalabagh dam
and now we see consequences for not building it
