Why would the first line of Offence will start from naval branch when the USAF have more asset than the Navy in Asia?

By the way, combat radius is straightly used for CAP where Hang time is a consideration, in the strike package you mentioned, you count combat range or strike range as you are talking about a predetermined target Alpha strike, which you don't need to hang around, and the combat range for a loaded F-18E/F before refuelling and drop tank is more than 1200 nmi. Go in, strike and get out.

But people think US dare not attack ANY country in this world is stupid. US will attack any country in this world if the need arise. Infact we are the most combat experienced country with 1 war in every 10 years. If you mess with us, we will get to you, one way or another.

You don't have to, only the opinion of those in charge matters. I don't see China trying to test our commitment yet, though they are trying to test at what point our ally's red lines are at, and consequently what our red line is at.

In practice it might not work, though. Any preemptive strike on the China mainland would be seen as an all out war. If China knows a conventional war means its doom, then it might as well launch all the ICBM for a mutual destruction.
