NATO is a security umbrella for small states not for the US, Germany, France and UK. The big guys provide security for small. Poland, Romania, the Baltics need production against Russia aggression, now supported by chinese clowns.

Its not a zero sum game since China simply plays no role in the western world.

10 years ago NATO members cut around budgets, did not invest in defense. Now Germany alone got within 4 weeks 3rd largest defense budget in world

NATO expands further east. Since russias attack in ukraine fails, troops now get permanently stationed in poland, baltics and balkans. Sweden and finland will join, first expansion of nato since 14 years. In general russian interests play no role anymore. They have shown how weak they are.
