I don't understand why there's still any debate over this.
1. NATO is ruled by a well-written charter that all signatory states have agreed on, which makes it impossible to kick a member country out under any circumstance-- let alone for purchasing a weapon system from a non-NATO country. Indians or whoever else talking smack about this only serves to show how unfamiliar with the topic they are.
2. Turkey has also inked an agreement with Eurosam (a NATO-member company) to co-develop a new SAM system.
Done! That's it in a nutshell.
If some of you still don't understand this and think "Turkey is leaving NATO", you probably shouldn't waste your limited mental facilities contemplating such matters and instead focus on the betterment of your own life.
