You know this from Lahore? I live in the US, in a military city no less. No morale problem here. Everyone gets thier checks (you need to learn something about how our politicians scare-monger...if thier particular plan isn't followed, we're DOOMED!)
People who live in your region seem to project thier precarious living situation on to us...we have heated debates, but life goes on much as it always has. Most people aren't all that effected by Afghanistan...and I live in a city from where many of these soldiers come (Ft. Bliss is here)

LeGenD, as you are in Lahore (where I have visited during my active USAF service 1963-65, the era before there was an Islamabad and when our US Embassy, where I worked, was in Karachi, then West Pakistan, then you surely know that there are about 5 major groupings of Taliban, all of which are not violent terrorists.

Secondly, to Juice, the US and Western world media do get actual casualties, including numbers validated by the United Nations. The numbers alleged in the Pakistani media with rare exception are puffed, inflated, and bogus, now and historically back to my tour of duty in Pakistan.

Thirdly this website is based out of Denver, Colorado, with stringers inside Pakistan and Afghanistan.

actually economically Pakistan was in a much worse shape in 2008. When a 3rd world country with huge terrorism and extremism problems did not disintegrate due to debt, expecting USA to do that is foolhardy at best . But hey, no taxes on wishful thinking .. N'joy

it's a shame, so many us soldiers gave their life for what? so the politicians could talk with taliban? they gave it so people could get freedom. those who makes compromises with the terrorists should be seen as public enemy #1 in the USA!
