Afghanistan is already quite nationalist. It was Afghan nationalism which refused to accept Pakistan. If she were truly religious she would have welcomed a Muslim majority eastern neighbour. The last part of your comment especially the "demonetization" make very little to no sense at all.
Regarding defeating Taliban (irrespective of nation which they may represent), it can't be achieved by mere military power, rather a radical change in the education and thought process within Afghanistan should be brought about and implemented, which keep religion secondary to modern education. If the present Afghan government with the help of their friends achieve in doing that successfully, you will surely see the Taliban loosing a war in a decade or two, that too without too much violence. Going forward, a nationalist Afghanistan will be the best than a religious Afghanistan and I'm sure India can help a lot to achieve that.
Even the "religious" Afghan Taliban do not accept the border.
You will have a harder time convincing those millions of Afghans who are fighting, to stop fighting for their freedom from an invading force and their collaborators by education; it would be easier to send armies of several hundred thousand troops instead.
Regarding demonetization: Modi's Bharat has acted as a willing partner in testing out what happens when currency notes are demonetized for Western Finance. She did this in spite of the damage it would do to her poor people. Now it is a matter of time Modi's Bharat will act as a willing partner for the West in other arenas.
(They who control Finance wish to move to a completely electronic system of money and Bharat acted as their Guinea pig.)
