Nato air-strike kills Qadhafi’s son: Govt official

In return pak should nuke israel

or give 2-3 shahaeen and ghauri two syria with With N warheads

lets end the war in middle east

no israel=PEACE in MIDDLE EAST

There are two things you forget, lovely farhan, one is the Arrow anti-ballistic missile that would intercept any Nukes and they would land somewhere in between our two nations. While the second is called Jericho ballistic missile that can reach the 90% of the world including all of Asia and cannot be intercepted by non of our lovely neighbors.
Those that advocated that Palestinians would have died as well is funny because the reason no country has yet to use a Nuclear weapon since America is because the fallout would not only reach all Nuclear countries but the one that launched the attack would be utterly destroyed.
But you know, keep dreaming. Peace be upon your soul farhan.:)

Because its middle-east, no democracy... so sons daughters and grand childrens rule the establishment , so no other leaders available... they are the prime targets... war is barbaric since barbaric ages.. cut of the heads .. the body dies soon... kill the leaders (in case of middle east, son daughters relatives ) and empire fall flat on its face

I would not advocate killing of minors and non combatants. But this is an air raid, and sometimes they end up killing even their own people.
They just went for a target, without thinking who is inside it.
Nato ground forces killing them will be unforgivable.

let them taste it they rule libya 42 years now they face it also

Naw, this time you can blame the French. They're the ones who pulled in a mostly-disinterested Obama into a minimal supporting role for their Libyan adventure. If Obama was really interested in ousting Qaddafi he would have sent two carriers and an amphibious group into the Gulf of Sidra to do the job. No Europeans necessary.

They have a ready made airbase in Italy and have already launch over 2000 sorties, why would they need 2 aircraft carriers?

Gadaffi have plentiful of support in Tripoli and among many Tribes in Libya, something the Western press wouldn't tell you, but if you watch coverages of Tripoli, Gadaffi have already proliferated weapons to civilians. So Nato is taking part in a civil war, and it could get ugly for everyone if this escalate into a civil war. Hopefully breaking Libya into 2 will not be an option.

Two carriers would shorten the turn-around times for the aircraft and increase their sortie time over the battlefield. There would have been a shorter war of greater intensity rather than the long drawn-out affair we see now.

I understand that it could save up on fuel costs, but you actually think airstrikes alone can force Gadaffi to leave? Like i said already 2000 sorties is flown of those 1100 of them are bombs, there's limitations to how many targets you can bomb with fighter jets, next come in the attack aircrafts or apaches, but rumor have it that the Libyan military have stockpiles of handheld and portable anti aircraft missiles, that is most likely the main reason NATO haven't send in these aircrafts to better target Gadaffi's forces, i maintain that any further escalation could turn this whole situation into a civil war, and if NATO places any boots on the ground they will be stuck in a 3rd quagmire. There's already signs that people in Benghazi are already rising up against the Al Qaeda factions or the armed rebels that are holding the city hostage, after hearing of the absolutely senseless murder of Gadaffi's son. A student looking to graduate in Germany, and his grandchildren. There's a threshold to where people could be fooled or held hostage.

So these 3 mysterious grand children have no ages no names and the son killed is one no one ever sees that has taken no part in the current conflict?

Or is this like the previous propganda where bodies were taken to bomb site then journalists trucked in to film the "civilians" killed by nato?

Al Jazeera's Sue Turton, reporting from Benghazi, said there were "an awful lot" of suggestions in Libya that the news of the deaths could be fabricated.

"One of the main spokesmen for the Transitional National Council, Abdul Hafez Goga, is saying he thinks it could all be fabrication, that it may well be Gaddafi is trying to garner some sympathy," she said.

"Back in 1986, Gaddafi once claimed that Ronald Reagan, then US president, had launched a strike on his compound in Tripoli and killed his daughter. Many journalists since then dug around and found out that the actual child that had died had nothing to do with Gaddafi, that he sort of adopted her posthumously."

NATO has no mandate to kill a head of state, who in this case - presently, for all intents and purposes is Col. Gaddhafi. Intentionally targeting Gaddhafi or his family or his civilian administration is illegal under the UNSC authorization.

Is Al Jazeera still seen as a credible news outlet by the Muslim world?

Better than quoting the daily mail or the NY times on stories in the middle east. Yes Al Jazeera has its own agenda but it seems better than most.
