Who is selling their mother to firangis. You dont make sense. When you are fighting a more powerful adversary, any help is welcome. Initially if you remember they actually told western countries not to get involved. Later on when they had their back against the wall in bengazi, they cried for help.

Let's not forget that mad dog Gaddafi said he would go from house to house, hunting and killing any protesters.

However, I agree that killing of children is shameful. The NATO mandate was to stop Libyan government's military assault on protesters. There was no mandate to bomb Libyan cities and kill civilians themselves.

Gaddafi might have been a dictator but he made Libya the richest nation in Africa, from being one of the poorest. His actual mistake was not in repressing a small minority of Libyan citizens. Otherwise what about Saudi Arabia or the fascist regimes in South Korea/South Vietnam before their falls incidently all of which were propped up with US support.

His actual mistake was giving up his nuclear program. I guarentee that if he kept going with his nuclear program, no one would've stopped him in the 70's 80's, today Libya would be an African regional power.

Yes, I think the same. But what do you prefer. Libyan rebels are not getting any decisive victory. This looks like a stalemate and if nato withdraws a sure defeat for rebels.
There is no way allies can get better wording in UN resolution which will enable them to take decisive action. Take the case of syria. They will not even get proper condemnation.

It is difficult choice to make. If end result matters then iraq was right. If the process matters, then definitely wrong.
Same for libya.

This I have never understood, whenever there is a conflict between Nato and an enemy in the Middle East, they start off by killing their sons, daughters, grand children. Totally barbaric and no one raises a peep against it.

From my initial understanding Nato ONLY had a mandate to prevent Libyan Air force from launching air strikes onto the rebel forces. It has far exceeded that and is now generally using that as an excuse to influence the result of the civil war.

Because its middle-east, no democracy... so sons daughters and grand childrens rule the establishment , so no other leaders available... they are the prime targets... war is barbaric since barbaric ages.. cut of the heads .. the body dies soon... kill the leaders (in case of middle east, son daughters relatives ) and empire fall flat on its face

Naw, this time you can blame the French. They're the ones who pulled in a mostly-disinterested Obama into a minimal supporting role for their Libyan adventure. If Obama was really interested in ousting Qaddafi he would have sent two carriers and an amphibious group into the Gulf of Sidra to do the job. No Europeans necessary.
