Even though you bought politics in your own post let me clarify something. This years procession was conceptualized by Bhaskorjo department and they don't work for AL. There is no politics in Fine Arts department and the hatred is there for obvious reasons. Now do you guys want to tell that all of the crowds were AL supporters? You are wrong my friend.

Yes I know that, I travel that place occasionally. The theme is biased but not political . AL only makes it political. The only presence they had were in organizing the concert infront of DU .

About atheists, well I do think portraying some thing nude is a cheap shot at fame which is not funny and unfortunately atheists will increase as the greed of people increase which is also not funny. A dressed up girl is always better then the one who looks suddenly droped out of the jungle.

According to that TV report, the crocodile was only made to represent the Razakar issue. I am not taking about other masks and puppets.

Since atheists do not care about god, religion and religious-sins, so according to me, then they also do not feel religious-pressure, religious-restrictions and fear for religious-punishments. I mean, being an atheist means: no god, no religion, no religious sin and punishments. Then the life becomes religious pressure less.

People say: Religion is peaceful, but I see religion is pressure. Because I always have to think about religious sins, punishments, restrictions and religious responsibilities if I believe in religion. And I can not do whatever I like if I believe in religion. But for atheists life is simpler as they are nonbeliever, so they do not have to think about sins and the they can enjoy many things, and perhaps life becomes easier and more enjoyable for them. I think number of atheists are increasing because they do not want to take the pressure of religions (like sins and punishments), or scientifically or logically they think there is no God, not for greediness actually. They just want to enjoy their life.

But I believe in religion even it creates pressure in me, because I think whatever is said in religion is proved as well for the mankind.

Sins, ethics and morality were taught by religion. How can you prove that stealing, killing and hijacking are sin without religion? Stealing someone's any thing is stealing someone's right which he owns or achieved. Religion taught us about the someone's rights, sins, ethics and morality, not anything else. Human is not wise enough to understand rights, sins, ethics and morality without religious sources.

And I agree that: in a few cases the atheists are lot more morally strong than their religious counterparts. But I wonder how much morality in them when the deny how they have learned about morality.

No they are not taught by religions, they predates all religions. Religions might have been codified them or organised them. Anyway the way I see it, religion is good in the sense it gives people somekinda identity of their own, maybe even make less-moral people to observe morality. But the problem is any sentiment which can gather people en masse for common cause, has been and will be used by the wise for good or bad.

You don't have to. But then since you cannot you cannot be even 1% sure, at least on a forum.

It is like saying 'I have seen the Man in the Moon and I am 1000% sure'.

However, study would show that there is no Man in the Moon, but the shadows of craters gives that impression.

Seeing is believing, but that does not mean one should abdicate intelligence and the analytical aspect of the brain to some TV channel since it is a known fact that TV channels have to cater for the TRP and without sensationalism, there can be no TRP.

People are not like droids. There is a syndrome, stand alone complex where few people will influence en masse without any interaction but idealizing a common phenomena. It is true that religion will 'cause division but its also true its because of religion a society will occur with principles. A common believer might not kill another person if he fears afterlife. Same applies to physical relations. Without any restrictions many guys would have destroyed a girls life.

Morality is a different factor which typically comes with the DNA. If someone becomes an oppressor his/her sons will become an oppressor. Same for the good ones.
