And @Leader I do not believe a donkey should be beaten as you compared a kid with a donkey, it only shows your mentality...which I DISAGREE with...extremes are NEVER good!

No..leader....but this is fact....our behaviour must be balanced specially for child raise..dekho...ghar ka ek ferd zaroor aisa ho jis se bachay thora sa darein specially father/mother mai se kisi ek ki personality aisee honi chahiye.

while doosra spouse thora lenient ho..is se buhat balance rehta hai...relationship mai...especially bachon ki training mai...

can this dar/fear be replaced by respect? :) thats the whole difference, is mien mehnat ziyada hai, but we ourselves are poor learners, hence use the godly method of punishment and reward.

Respect is earned not given free...and I believe be a parent, a friend but have your limits...You cant go and give galiyan to your parents like you give to your friends...that is something that is learnt which leniency doesnt teach...see any gora kid and hear how he talks to his parents...

Just try once!

exactly, treated like donkeys !!

you never asked for a lecture on good parenting, learning for a starter point; not to beat/threaten as the philosophy is flawed and based on fear, but even the picture didnt touch your imagination and you came up with a gem thought "Coz they just dont get why they got hit".

lets first relearn to begin with, here is a basic principle, "the kids are like monkeys, not donkeys" as your red highlighted thought suggested otherwise.

if you are able to learn this basic principle, you wont need to ask for what is good parenting.

No one is saying that you beat the crap of your child. But it is very important that you put fear in the brain of your child. But on the other side you need to show your kindness to your kid......it has to be reward and punish system.

Heres an example....how are you going to keep your child away from bad company/friends?.....take him to a rehab? Show him the drug addicts? Take him on a visit to prison? nah its not gona work on its own....you tell them first....you tell them second time.....you ground them third time ......you smack them fourth time.....if a father is pissed at his son all the time than its not gonna work but if that father is kind to his boy and befriend him than the boy will know why he got smacked by his father

Not at this stage my dear....as I have come past that phase....you should be asking this question from alpha and rampage

.
best example @Leader @balixd @Talon...my own observation....

once I observed that my niece was not listening to her mother..she asked her once,twice,thrice..she don't...then suddenly her father showed up..when he saw that she is not listening to his wife then all he did is that he changed his voice tone and asked her to stand up...that girl..without any delay, quickly stood up and acted the way her mom asked her too...

Not at this stage my dear....as I have come past that phase....you should be asking this question from alpha and rampage

but you must have past memories...

@Leader Like I said everything in moderation is good...

There SERIOUSLY are some people who grow up and say, wish my dad had warned me...if I hadnt listened beaten me but not let me stray down the dark alley where there is no return...Wish my dad had been a father....

This is true...

The guy is not asking to beaten out of his life but to be disciplined! WHICH is necessary...i am not sure what you went through to think discipline would create some form of hatred...In fact akhain dikha day na is enough ...

When we young ladies in our mid 20s sit together and see modern bachay doing what they want...showing off their new stuff, Wanting to eat ONLY FROM KFC/ MC.D instead of home cooked meals.... commanding their parents we are shocked...seriously, this is a bhigri wi nation!

there was a time we went to a Islamic gathering and this new aunty (not sure how old she would be but kinda young, very thin and fragile looking) came as well....while reading quran her son came and kicked her...she said no, he pulled her dupatta off she said naa ker...he threw himself at her and beat her...she smiled miserably and tried to hold him....when one of the aunties tried to pull idher aao let your mom read quran, he slapped the aunty too...tell me what game do you want to play with such a kid @Leader

This mind you was the WORST behaviour of a child we had seen!

And why you think mere changing of his tone did the trick?....you think it would have workrd if mother had done the same?....anyway am out....i had enough stress for today

because of her extra soft image...but father's image was strict a bit in her mind..that is why she did right away.
