Reunification probably....or attention....nomination for election....who knows??

REUNIFICATION. Lets go with that one, we'll have a legit excuse to impose war on you. Often I have envisioned razing Dhaka to the ground and butchering its inhabitants.

Actually, Mirzay, you are ignoring the problem: the university has no right to ban you from wearing the hijab. That's just as wrong, but in our country wearing the Hijab is easier rather than not wearing it. Plus, there is a notion that everyone who is 'liberal' is rich. That's not the case, I'm not. If I were a woman then the best universities in my country would be denied to me because I take the dupatta a certain way or wear a hijab or not. That is not fair nor moral. That is where we are speaking: if a university bans hijab that's bad if it enforces it, legally or no, that's equally bad.

It might be possible that we have different mindset. I haven't found anything wrong in covering yourself and taking dupatta in certain way. And this is positive step for me while this is completely negative move according to your POV

I did not mention religion and neither did I act liberal, I am liberal, I spoke my views and no matter what the reasons are the consequences are of legal enforcement and that is where each individual should be very very careful: the social contract that we share is negotiated if it is violated then it should be spoken against and our society does not take notice of this factor.

Yes you did .....You dragged mullahs in this ...

I hope you see what I am trying to show you.

Yes i understand what are you trying to explain me probably it's not good for individual but it will be good for society.

No no. VERY pretty face. :smitten:

This is not a sad smiley  I was feeling shy :P

When did I imply that you were sad? I implied that you probably have a very pretty face along with a beautiful soul.:bounce:

@jaibi Tough day bro. So many ignorant twits to educate. Every two days I have to elucidate upon the physics package of a TMN, then drill into people's heads that warfare is not platform centric, then manually prepare maps for them since the buggers (mostly my own compatriots  ) like to shoot in the air without any appreciation of the geography of concerned areas, even have to talk of basic things like ORBAT. If this were an office I would have gone on a shotgun rampage by now.

@Oscar you like my avatar dude?
@Hyperion Where is my Butt brother?

No, no, Mirzey, you have misunderstood, let me elaborate. My point of view is that a female has full freedom to dress up and cover herself the way she wants. If she is wearing the hijab or burka and likes it, great, if she likes wearing jeans, great! Whatever is her preference is OK. She should not be wearing anything because she is afraid for her safety or being judged in a particular way.

Now, I was actually answering a fellow poster, seiko, on this, and as I am from Lahore and my parents have been a part of the education system for a long time, I spoke from ideology. The Mullah, I meant, is the university faculty/student who takes it upon himself to make sure everyone is 'decent'. They routinely go around the university like a gang and check if girls are wearing the dupatta, if the males and females are seated separately, if there is not too much laughter coming. This is from my own university, btw.

I hope you are clear what I am saying. I will respect you the same way no matter what you wear, that is your choice, not mine. :)
