Yes , the second sentence explained it ! Well , it doesn't infer anything definite except that God is only to be believed because there are things that we understand not and hence the scientific approach is lets say flawed ...

Or rather that it is not flawed at all just incomplete- but in the process of completion. The gaps that exist currently may be occupied by God but as they keep filling up...
