our corporate law teacher told us National Bank of Pakistan has a policy of giving free cars to Senior VP and higher ranking persons. If person retires before 5 years, he will take car to his home and if not than a new car will be provided to him .

Soodi nizam. Even provinces of Pakistan pays interest to Federal government if they obtain loan from SBP for development works.

That interest payment includes - Inflation (Time Value of Money) + Mark Up ! Whats exactly wrong with that ?

A portion of it accounts for the Time Value of Money whereby the Rs.100 I give you today would have Rs.90 of purchasing power left at the end of the year ! So to bring the Principal back to where it ought to be...you pay a little extra & that is off-set by the extra purchasing power that you enjoyed at the inception of the loan.

Whereas the Mark-Up accounts for a service provided to you just like any other service provided ! Do you think a taxi driver would be happy if he takes you from point A to point B & you pay him for the 'fuel only' ? Or would he not charge you an extra something for the service he provided you ? That value-added addition in the service he provides you 'Convenience & Conveyance' is what the Mark-Up represents.

That sounds fair to me !

afghanistan main jaisa howa tha ap us ko to yeh na kahen k woh aik hokomat the. ya nizam tha.
aur baki jitna acha system islamic econimc hai aur koi ho nahi sakta. aur trade bhe ho sakti hai barter system k teht kuch mushkilat ho sakti hain ain laikin bilkul namumkin nahi aur system ko chalany k liye islamic economic system bohot he ziada suitable hai. zakat taxes say ziada ho sakti hain .

like i said, think realisticly not ideally. 90 percent of our trade is with non muslim countries and if Islamic economy was viable in todays world we would have seen saudia and iran implementing it but their economies are interest based. So until muslim block become independent we can not implement islamic system in a standalone poor country like Pakistan.

I wasn't refering to the naming ! Its more like - Do you want the laws to be derived from the Koran & the Sunnah or do you want them to be completely detached from religion ?

Do you want Pakistan to be a Secular or an Islamic State ?

Dear this question is raised by those people who are themselves confuse minded........

Pakistan could not be a theocratic state.......it is against the over all nature of Pakistanis......so in other words Pakistan could only be that much Islamic as its Muslim citizens.....and to judge how good Muslim we are is not the job of any mullah or any one else....... Secularism....bullshit.....it is more confusing then Mullah ka Islam......those idiots who want secular Pakistan should first prove that Pakistan is not a secular country..........

Dear if you don't mind I will say you are a bit confuse about you career if you are going for ACCA/CFA or any other accounting related course then why do you need MBA degree.....???

bank me tu ye combination bi chaal jay ga....or simple MBA bi........but Why that combo......try to be a specialist in single field first.....then build you capacity in other fields upto a competitive.......level

your next question.....Dear its my experience if you want to accelerate in any business/profession be a part of earning side of that business......... do not not join back office or typical operational side......other then financial division.

so at initial stage if some one join at branch he will have to perform some regular operation of branch.......accepting of deposit and advancing loans for business side.......or for operational side cashier......is the basic job.

Ahca bache baroo ki salary nahi poochte........sky is the limit.....their are some CEOs and President of bank who are getting around some 10 millions as officially declare monthly remuneration...... even at mid career level 200k-500K bracket is very much common.....now a days.....

Oh ! Mein no 'MBA' ka isss liyeee kahaa thaaa because the real benefit of an MBA isn't in what they teach you (they can neither teach me more accounting, management or finance that ACCA already didn't...I already know more) but the 'alumni network' & the 'grooming' a good institution imparts you.

Okay ! Busss abbb pataa chal jaiii keh taaang door ke andar kisss tarhaan phansaanii hai ! :hitwall:

Abhii tou I'm in the dark...complete dark !

That's not 100% free - after four years you can buy back it on book value. Many banks, multinationals and good national groups have this policy which is part of perks

technically i totally agree with you but religion doesnt allow you to do that.

brother it depends more on thinking ....(i will write in urdu to better explain my points.)
merey liye ahm kia hai. ...
agar merey liye ahm mera rutba ya mera status hai to bilkul sood aur soodi nizam theak hai .
laikin agar merey liye yeh chezen islam say aur ALLAH k hukam say ziada zarori nahi to phir mujhy farq nahi parta k kuch bhe ho . kisi bhe surat may main apny position ko nahi choron ga.
ab bat rahi ideal ya non ideal situations ke. jab ap implement karen gay tab he rasty niklen gay na. jab tak ap implement nahi karty kisi chez ko ap ko pata he nahi chalta k us k plus aur minus kia hain .
