Nowhere in the article does it say NASA is furious. The NASA director was simply briefing the media about the dangers such operations could potentially pose, and he explained them. If you read the CNN article, the director actually said most of the debris will burn up within a few weeks. Threads like these are nothing but rantings from an isolated and frustrated nation that is losing on all fronts and is upset that their hated enemy is progressing and joining an elite club of only the US, Russia, and China, while Pakistan is repeatedly called out by FATF and anti-terror watchdogs, and virtually every major country for sponsoring UN-designated terror groups. So it is clear they have no say in this.

I think they needed something for chest thumping of bhindus after Pakistan whooped their arse in a comprehensive way so to cheer up their ally they did it and this he can use in his elections.

This missile was developed since the Manmohan era, tests were scheduled to be conducted in late 2018 and early 2019 long before any of this recent Indo-Pak drama occurred.

Space allocation and impending launch was something that NASA was aware of (and now there are news of failed tests and whatever).. Fact is.. you don;t launch anything into LEO without informing multiple institions across the world.. Modi said so in his speech.. so the powers that be, were informed was no secret that India was launching.. they just thought it was precursor to PSLV launch and did not expect ASAT

The OP article this thread is based on just cherry picked parts of NASA administrator Bridenstine's comment. In his whole quote he notes that NASA is tracking upwards of 400 objects created by India's ASAT test. Of those 60 are considered significant in size and 24 are a potential risk to the ISS.

NASA isn’t that non selfish itself. Calling for a better future is just bluff. It’s politics to make you look good and further your agenda. NASA will Judy further the agenda...If space is the common heritage, whys there a major call for a space force? Space will become territory of different countries. It is for power play and the major resources available. It is good that India has realized this and working accordingly just like the other 3 powers. Pakistanis should realize this is political and not some sunny daisy philosophical occurrence...
