NASA estimates 1 billion ‘Earths’ in our galaxy alone

i dont think any of 1 billion and 1 planet can be finished by sucide blasts - even the biggest danger to this planet the earth is not sucide blasts its global warming thanks to science and lack of morals -
they will be sure super aliens and they eat nuclear fuel in food like cooking oil then ?

sorry what they eat is not our concern - its what they believe in "the imaginary friends" that is our concern-

in fact we can ! and we have the tech but with that we need a lot of energy that's make it impossible to travel now brain boys working how to reduce amount of needed energy to reasonable level

Bro, all these are hypothetical thus far. The day they have such thing up and running then they'll spark my interest. :D
Besides, there are enough places on this planet I have not went went to. Going to another planet would not be all that anyway. I'll stick to the good old mother Earth.

Twice the gravity of earth will not allow humans to easily adapt to other planets.

Not that we'll reach a 1,400 light year planet any time soon. With our current capabilities, it takes a space probe 70,000 years to reach the closest star system, the alpha centauri etc. And that's only 4 light years away. Of course "only" is a relative term, because it is a massive distance for us to cover but in the context of a universe its a blip. We're better off terraforming mars and releasing green house gases there.

I have a doubt, since according to darwin theory humans are derived from monkeys, then why the current monkeys still look monkeys !
Humans didnt evolve from modern monkeys.. Both branches have common ancestors. No one seriously doubts the theory of evolution... the evidence is everywhere.

"Thanks to science " Thats the only reason why you share your valuable thoughts with us.

That being said, rising temperatures, manmade or not, wont destroy everything. The planet has undergone several transitions from from a icehouse (With frozen poles) to greenhouse climate scenario. It just never experienced such a rapid change.

An Earth-like planet is not necessarily suitable for biological life. For example, Mars is an Earth-like planet.

The closest analogue to Earth so far is Kepler-452b. It (i.e. Kepler-425b) is the only planet - among thousands of Earth-like planets discovered until now - that is believed to be suitable for biological life.
