This Saturday is the expected launch to the Moon.

. . .
Should give the money to Spacex. Honestly this thing is extremely expensive.

I was just waiting the rocket to be launched to the moon on Saturday Night Western Indonesian Time, yep there was leaking going on.

I think it is similar like US first rocket launch to the moon, that happened during tight competition between USA vs USSR. Similar geopolitical context as well with now tight competition between USA vs China. China wants to send men to the moon as well, USA cannot afford to let China do first in this 21 century.

.
The launch originally planned by the USA on September 3 has failed due to the leakage of liquid hydrogen.

NASA decided to postpone the launch again. This rocket has failed many times now.

Why did it succeed during the Apollo moon landing, but now it has failed many times?

Why did it succeed during the Apollo moon landing, but now it has failed many times?

What if, USA filmed moon landing in Universal studios, than send the apollo 11 alone without human, that's easy, and when other nations question US claims, they can just point to the apollo 11 remains .

I wouldn't waste money on that DNA test from your high quality post I can tell you possess no East Asian DNA. You're welcome.

Apollo series was powered by Kerosene and liquid oxygen. ARTEMIS is Liquid Hydrogen and Oxygen, Its not comparable not even close. Hydrogen is hard to contain, its advantage is high impulse disadvantage is low fuel density and leaks.

You should know by now they aren’t interested in facts. It’s all about needling the US for any and all such “failures.” When in reality their nations have no capability to compete with the US.

.
It was delayed two times with critical error.
Kind of funny tbqh.

China has already snapped pictures of the Apollo site using their moon orbiting satellite...including obviously the footprints of the astronauts.

If there was anything suspicious they would be jumping up and down saying it was a hoax.

China on Monday published a set of full coverage of moon map and moon images with a resolution of seven meters captured by the country's second moon orbiter, the Chang'e-2. (Xinhua Photo)

BEIJING, Feb. 6 (Xinhua) -- China on Monday published a full coverage map of the moon, as well as several high-resolution images of the celestial body, captured by the country's second moon orbiter, the Chang'e-2.

The map and images, released by the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence (SASTIND), are the highest-resolution photos of the entirety of the moon's surface to be published thus far, said Liu Dongkui, deputy chief commander of China's lunar probe project.

The images were photographed by a charge-coupled device (CCD) stereo camera on the Chang'e-2 from heights of 100 km and 15 km over the lunar surface between October 2010 and May 2011, according to a statement from SASTIND.

The resolution of the images obtained from Chang'e-2 is 17 times greater than those taken by the its predecessor, the Chang'e-1.

If there were airports and harbors on the moon, the Chang'e-1 could simply identify them, while the Chang'e-2 would be able to detect planes or ships inside of them, said Tong Qingxi, an academic from the Institute of Remote Sensing Applications under the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The scientists also spotted traces of the previous Apollo mission in the images, said Yan Jun, chief application scientist for China's lunar exploration project.

Several countries, including the United States, have obtained lunar images with higher resolution, but have not published full-coverage images of the moon with a resolution of seven meters or greater, as China has done, Tong said.

Scientists have made adjustments to the original data to more accurately reflect the topographic and geomorphologic features of the moon, the SASTIND statement said.

Chang'e-2, named after a legendary Chinese moon goddess, was launched on Oct. 1, 2010.

In November 2010, Premier Wen Jiabao unveiled an image taken by the satellite of the moon's Sinus Iridum, or Bay of Rainbows, an area where the future Chang'e-3 moon probe may land.

The launch of the Chang'e-3 is scheduled for 2013, marking the first time for a Chinese spacecraft to land on the surface of an extraterrestrial body.

The photos of the possible landing site, combined with China's complete moon map, will provide basic data for the country's future moon landing missions, Tong said.

The images will also help scientists to understand the moon's geological structure, as well as give them information about the concentration and distribution of matter on the moon's surface, Yan said.

The satellite is currently orbiting the moon's second Lagrange Point (L2), located more than 1.5 million km away from Earth.

So far it's still on the pad. If it is deemed serious they will roll it back to the vehicle assembly building to fix.

Very good question. Artemis uses liquid h2 - a notoriously leaky fuel. You may ask why ?

well the space shuttles - like discover and challenger - used them . And their launches were scrubbed often.

When US decided to end space shuttle program - it put under threat jobs of thousands of contractors and employees in certain states. The senators of these states were furious and wanted govt to fund another replacement program.

Artemis is the replacement program and it mandates to re-use space shuttle technologies. POliticians taking engineering decisions!

Now with prolonged delays - politicians have found another excuse to keep it alive - the good old "china threat". If we dont lanuch artemis - now with all its delays and billions - china will beat us and occupy moon - thats the hype.

Where did you find footprint here?He never mentioned any footprints, considering the quotation is accurate .

I already said what if US send the apollo11 without humans? their remains must be there making spots from their crossing on moon surface, this was not the hardest of tasks back then, both US & Soviets already had the capabilities.

So you are saying if it was a hoax the only thing we should see on the moon is the LEM base without the ascent vehicle.

How do you explain the laser retroreflectors setup by the Apollo astronauts that scientists all over the world can use anytime to calculate the distance to the moon. I suppose we had robots/rovers on those craft that jumped out and set them up.

How do you explain the goodwill pieces of moonrocks sent to almost every country in the world?

How do explain the 800+ pounds of moon rocks scientist from all over the world can examine.

Plus if you don't believe the NASA/Japanese/Russians/Chinese who have photographs you can ask about your own governments' pictures:

"Our images also show tracks left behind by the lunar rovers which were used by the astronauts."

53 years later, an Indian probe photographs the Apollo sites on the Moon

You can clearly see tracks by the astronauts...or are you saying these tracks were made by rovers back in 1969? I suppose if we get up close to them and find they are shoeprints you will say we had rovers that had wheels with shoe shaped treads...as we had apparently "thought of everything".
