Standards of media is quite a debatable matter but one thing for sure Pak media doesn't sensationalize the issues unlike its Indian counterpart.

Many of the "experts" on Indian channels are not better than the indian trolls here on PDF.

Which part of my post appeared a bit of a joke to you? Are you implying ones who discuss plans of attack on Pakistan in Indian media are intellectual ones, das kadam and stuff like this. My post had more to do with sensationalism than experts opinion.

We have some progress on this, an anchor took the opinion of TTP spokesman on national TV a couple of months ago.

But that really faced a lot of criticism... I am sure that was first and the last one too.

If calling for Jihad against India on the roof top after prayers is what you considered as an expert opinion then you can find many experts in this forum also..

Err... Having chaps like Hafiz Saeed on TV is not sensationalism? With his views? His history? I watched a show where Siddharth Varadharajan, the editor of the Hindu was invited to a show where the the other participants included zaid hamid, air marshal Shahzad Chaudhry, Tariq Pirzada on a Mehar Bukhari show. Other than the complete lack of logic of bringing in "expert" Zaid Hamid on a supposedly serious show, all the Pakistani participants including the host kept on talking with certainty about an affidavit supposedly submitted by an Indian Home Ministry official and they kept discussing it as if the affidavit clearly proved some conspiracy. On repeatedly being told by Varadharajan that no such affidavit exists, they kept insisting there was & held a discussion on the matter. Not sensationalism,eh? Let alone on India, Pakistani TV is full of sensationalistic conspiracy stories about the Americans, about Bin Laden etc. It will take a lot of convincing to believe that the Pakistani media is better than the Indian media on the issue of sensationism.
