its not religious angle- i have Nepal in mind-

There is no need to connect Nepal's quake aid with the 'blockade'. India is committed to rebuilding Nepal. At least I haven't heard Indian government withdrawing its aid from Nepal.

PM Modi offers assistance to Afghanistan, Pak after earthquake | Zee News

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday offered assistance to Afghanistan and Pakistan as a major earthquake struck the region with epicentre in Afghanistan.

He said he has asked for urgent assessment of the damage caused by the quake which also hit many parts of India.

"Heard about strong earthquake in Afghanistan-Pakistan region whose tremors have been felt in parts of India. I pray for everyone's safety," Modi tweeted.

"I have asked for an urgent assessment and we stand ready for assistance where required, including Afghanistan & Pakistan," the Prime Minister added.

A powerful 7.5 magnitude quake, epicentred about 250 kms from the capital Kabul in Jarm in Afghanistan's northeast, also shook Pakistan and India. The quake lasted about one minute.

2 armymen injured in J&K as quake jolts North India


Kabul, Oct 26 (AFP) At least 12 girls were killed after a stampede broke out in their school in the northern Afghan province of Takhar following a powerful earthquake today, officials said.

"The students rushed to escape the school building in Taluqan city (capital of Takhar), triggering a stampede," Takhar education department chief Enayat Naweed told AFP.

"Twelve students, all minors, were killed and 35 others were injured.
