I'm not sure how much of a threat it poses to Bangaldesh. Such networks are good for asymmetrical warfare and not conventional confrontations. I suppose they could move arms and men, without detection by Bangladesh to the front. They can also protect significant forces from attack within such a network.

bangladesh and mayanmar army is quiet equal in stranght and equipment, they have more men power we have more wel-train solder.
in mojor offencive war you need huge logistic support, the area of border is both side is hil+full of jungle. you may cross any side by foot but you can,t achive your goal without continous supply.army have many low flying recon plan, vehicle, chack post etc......so without cover there intension to us almost impossible. we have strong paratroop force so we can quickly deploy them just any where but in hili + jugle area when enemy digging in and regularly supply then it,s very hard to re occopay thos position/teratory.

to bomb those tunnel from air with bunker buster you also need air-supurity, what our air force don,t have for now. paratropper can only slow down any major attak untill main ground force arrive. now in my little knowledge.........i can see that we are excenging bullet with mayanmar in fixed position as like world war 1. and bring back the trance war.

Buthidong houses the op HQ in this area. There is a tunnel between Buthidong and Maungdaw. Artillery or air force would need tunnel bursting munition. However, it would be easier for the Mujahids to neutralize these.
