What's new

Myanmar's secret military tunnel network is a grat threat for bangladesh.

Buthidong houses the op HQ in this area. There is a tunnel between Buthidong and Maungdaw. Artillery or air force would need tunnel bursting munition. However, it would be easier for the Mujahids to neutralize these.

who will put important military tunnels in such a easy place.. ? :D

Burmese does not have enough reinforce concrete. I think tunnels with primitive mud structure only good for hiding juntas and their mistresses. We only need to arrange enough smoke to choke them out.

Does bangladesh have secret tunnel

It's a secret, no one knows.

I suspect no..... Burmese have been in a continuous process of massacring all its minorities since independence. These tunnels if real are probably to safeguard military asset from their enemies.

You need to see who goes on to develop tunnels .... The Russians during WW2 in Stalingrad or during Cold War, Palestinians in gaze, Vietnamese during their war against French and then the Americans, Iraq and Iran during their wars......

These tunnels and underground stuctures are produced by countries in war footing where they expect an attack..... BD is stable, peaceful and not on war footing ..... there are a few underground structure for conmand and control purposes but beyond that I would say no we do not have any such things.

Most of the homes in BD has a hole to hide. Adad and iajadni made 5 feet tunnels according to their size. They are the first one to hide... They did same in 1971.

These type of tunnels are mainly used by insurgents for guerrilla warfare, if Myanmar has a professional army why would they rely on these tunnels?
